anyways Mikey's POV

I rolled of my bed as I heard the doorbell. I was only wearing underwear but I didn't care, there was no point in impressing anyone anymore.

"God I'm so stupid." I whispered to myself, allowing my head to hit against the wall. Why did I ever make that decision. If only I had took action, maybe she wouldn't be in California. Maybe she would be the one knocking on my door at 8 in the morning.

"Heyyyyyy." Naomy said hugging me before I could even open the door all the way.

"Hi." I smiled backing away from the hug.

"Are you ready for today?" She asked with a big smile on her face. I honestly had no idea what today was and what we were doing.

I looked down at myself, noticing the fact that I was only wearing underwear.

"I'll take that as a no." She quickly walked past me letting the smell of her perfume linger. She smelled of peppermint and cherry.

I followed her up to my room as she picked through my closet.

"Here." She tossed a red t-shirt at me, along with a pair of basketball shorts. I quickly slipped them on, as her eyes focused on my body. Her hands slid up my bare torso as I struggled to put the basketball shorts. It gave me chills as my eyes met hers.

My hands found hers and brought her closer to me. Her cherry red lips collided with mine sending tingles throughtout my body.

I was swept in my own world as her lips moved against mine. Thoughts flew around my head bringing me back to the beginning of this summer. There we were on the beach during the cool nighttime, I could almost smell the salty seawater. The waves were crashing down one by one, loudly, but ever so gently. The atmosphere was perfect, I had my friends and it was a perfect summer night. The moon above us lighting up the otherwise dark night. Another waves crashed and there she was, splashing me with the cool ocean water, her smile illuminating her face as she fell to her butt onto the shore. I could see right through her white shirt and found myself staring at her perfect body.

She caught me and moved my chin up to look at her face, just then a wave hit us knocking us both to the ground. I offered a hand to her, seeing as it was pretty hard to get up when waves were holding you down. She took my hand and we both ended up on the shore laying next to each other, looking at the stars.

Her beautiful blue eyes shining brighter than the stars as I found myself staring into them. She silently pointed to the big dipper, her illuminating smile filled the air with happiness as I made the gap between us even smaller.

My lips suddenly locked with hers, giving me a reason to smile.

"Mikey?" Naomy's soft voice woke me from my daydream. "Are you alright?" I wasn't sure what to say to that question. I shook the thoughts out of my head, as I grabbed Naomy's chin and brought it back to me.

"Fine." I smiled leading her to beleive that nothing had just happened but I couldn't get Kalen out of my head. She was a part of me and I couldn't find myself to let it go.

Only if I hadn't have let her go that day....

"Okay, let's go then." She said grabbing my hand and taking me downstairs

"Where are we going exactly." I stopped in my tracks.

"On that lunch date with Vinny and Gabbie, remember?" She said refreshing my memory. I still didn't remember but I nodded anyways.

"Hey Mikey." Vinny said slapping me on the back.

"Wasssup." I replied doing my handshake with him as the girls greeted each other.

"Starving." Vinny laughed sitting down at the table.

We quickly ordered and then had a very awkward silence. I didn't know why I was on this double date anyways.

"We'll go get the food." Gabbie offered taking Naomy with her.

"I'll got to tell you something." Vinny said whispering across the table. "So I think that Kalen has a boyfriend already."

My heart dropped as I heard her name. No.

I left the diner as quickly as possible pushing right past the girls, my lunch was spoiled and I wasn't going to let anyone see me this way.

How could see replace me so easily? Hadn't I been through enough already?

but I guess we all have to move on at somepoint.
