A/N: hey guys:) Sorry I haven't been able to update I was on vacation, yay! "twelve." I whispered combing my fingers through my tangled blonde hair. I had twelve more days and everything was so out of order I didn't know how to fix it. Everything I'd done had been a mistake because soon I would be gone and everything would be lost. Being in the middle of this knot I had made was not fun. Not only had I been involved in a love triangle but I had just added one more to the bunch, derek. God I felt so bad. Derek had no clue what he had got himself in to. "I have to tell him." I whispered to myself as I paced my room.

My heart ached to stay here, despite everything I had back in California and all the bad memories I had here, I wanted to stay.

My twelfth to last day here was going to be spend watching netflix, then getting lunch with the girls, and then my date with derek.

　

"Hey Kalen." Alexis smiled and motioned me to the booth in Albivi's. It been awhile since I had been here and it seemed weird to be back.

"Hey." I waved to Sarah, Alexis and Alex. I slowly walked over to them. They all had smirks on their faces like they knew something I didn't. "Can I help you?" I said sitting down next Alexis.

"Soo..... Derek Spencer?" Sarah said winking from behind her menu.

"God, how did you guys find out?" I moaned and rolled my eyes. I didn't tell anyone, but I guess that doesn't mean that he didn't tell people, but honestly he didn't seem like teh type to brag.

"Derek Spencer, the hottest guy in school and my best friend is dating him." Alexis smiled leaning on the table. Her eyes twinkled and a took a deep breath because they were handling it pretty well.

"He told some people and then some people told us." Sarah smiled as Alex just sat there listening to us.......I guess he was that type.

"What exactly did he say?" I smiled replaying our kiss in my mind and it still gave me butterflies.

"Someone's blushing." Alexis said grabbing both my cheeks and pinching them.

"Ouch." I said rubbing my cheeks where she had violently pinched them.

"He just said how hot and sexy his date last night was. He also said you were really funny and witty." Sarah smiled proud of me.

"Oh good, he's not the type to kiss and tell." I accidently said and quickly covered my mouth. I wasn't that type either.

"He kissed you?" Sarah said practically standing up in the booth.

"Oh by the way if you hadn't already gathered I broke up with Mikey. Just to clarify, I didn't want you guys to think I was cheating on him." I quietly laughed but they didn't find it funny.
