Chapter 42

A/N: Hey;) I have a few things to say, first, I want to say thank you for everybodys support, I love it, especially since this story is #2 when you search Mikey Fusco, ilysm. 2. I hope you guys like this chapter, the first bit isn't that great but I hope you enjoy. 3.  I am still taking comments on a date between Mikey and Kalen, if I pick your idea you will get full credit and the chapter dedicated to you so toss some ideas out there:) 4. just to let you know I am going to try to update both tomorrow and Christmas day but there are no promises because I will be pretty busy. 5. "God Mikey do you even know how to drive?" I laughed at him as he struggled to drive to the ice rink. I had been counting every mistake he made and so far I was at least at fifty.

"Yes I know how to drive. " He responded and slammed his palm against the horn.

"Do you know how intimadating we must seem right now?"

"Hey, soccer moms can be pretty scary, trust me I know my fair share." He laughed and I knew exactly who he was talking about. Vinny's mom could be absolutely crazy when it came to being on time.

"How about you just let me drive?" I suggested but he didn't break, Something about dignity I supposed.

"Look we made it safe and sound." He smiled and put the van in park, and took out the keys setting them on the seat. "Let's go." He demanded wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him. I quickly took advantage of the warmth in the small amount of time before we reached the frozen pond. When Vinny said iceskating I kinda figured we were going to an indoor ice rink, well I was wrong. Mikey had driven us to a pond in the middle of nowhere, which I didn't known even exsisted in Jersey.

"Hey." I smiled at the others and sat down in the cold snow to lace up the ice skates Ashton had given me.

"Glad you two finally decided to show up." Vinny said and gave me a wink. I snickered quietly and blushed at the thought. I was subject to living in the moment and thats just what I was going to do. Forget Spencer, ......for the moment.

"Hey." Alexis came skating over to where I was sitting. She smiled brightly at me and I knew exactly the reason. her eyes proceeded to move from me to Mikey, hinting at the fact that we showed up together, not to mention that his arm was around me, but just thinking about it made me feel like a slut. I was not only cheating on my boyfriend, but everybody was okay with it. It was almost like a double life and I wasn't sure whether to be ashamed or happy. Forget forgetting Spencer, I just didn't even know.

"Hey sweet cheeks." Sarah skated effortlessly and gracefully to the bank and sat beside me.

"Hey." I smiled and finished tieing the skates. Alexis held out her hand to help me up and with a little scare I was up on my feet ready to glide across the smooth ice.

"Okay, now move your feet just like this." Alexis demostrated and slid her feet to the sides. I could already tell how difficult this was going to be. I couldn't even stay balanced let alone skate.

"I'll show you." Mikey whispered in my ear from behind making me jump and like I wasn't already unbalnced. My feet slipped and I slow motion fell not on to the ice thankfully but into Mikey's arms. I laughed with the audience I gathered and sat on the ice. "Okay, not like that." Mikey laughed and held out a hand to help me up.

I took his hand and he lifted me up off my butt as I tried to stablize myself but only ending up stumbling again. I quickly grabbed on to his shoulders and stood up straight. Mikey smiled and slid his hand on to my waist.

I couldn't help but smile as his soft compassionate eyes met with mine telling me everything I needed to know. We were meant to be.

Vinny cat called and made me realize that everybody was staring at us, but I didn't really care. This was love and I had found it.
