Chapter 31

A/N: Hey:) So this chapter is just not great because I moved my favorite part into the next chapter:) Here you go, like, vote, and follow me:) by the way I put a picture in the last chapter of what Spencer looks like.

and will someone please come up with a ship name that doesn't sound ridiculous because I can't think of any:)

Kalen's point of veiw

"K let's go for real this time." I said breaking the kiss. For the past 10 minutes we had said we were leaving but then sat in the car kissing.

"Okay, fine, but this will be continued." He said laughing as he took the car out of park.

He drove to the baseball feild that his team practiced on where we were meeting McKay, Hannah, and a couple of Spenc's closest friends. He was going to invited the whole baseball team but I wouldn't allow it.

"Hey" Hannah said hugging me. "It's nice to see you out of school for once." She laughed lettign me free from the hug. I really hadn't spent too much time with her out from school because I'd been to busy being a terrible girlfriend to be a great friend..

"Sorry." I confessed making myself feel guilty for now not only being a terrible girlfriend but also a terrible friend to both Hannah and McKay. The only time I ever talked to McKay was when I needed a favour. How selfish.

"Let's play." Spencer's friend Marcus shouted. I had met him before first at the hotel and then second he liked McKay so I had tried to set them up once. I guess you could say it worked because now they we all over each other. Marcus was actually a cute kid. He had a bright smile and the cutest little dimples. He was a bit taller than me but still shorter than Spencer. His hair was a dirty blonde.

"are you coming?" Spencer grabbed my arm and handed me my softball bag.

"Are you ready to lose?" i laughed and ran to the feild getting a warm up. Spencer tried to catch up but couldn't because I was the fastest runner on my team.

"God you're fast." He said as he caught up wrapping his arms around me from the back.

"Oh I know, and that's why I'm gonna kick your trash." I said flipping myself around in his arms and put a finger to his very muscular chest. He grabbed my finger and slipped his fingers with mine so that we were holding hands.

"I'm just so glad to have you back, I win either way." He laughed giving me a slight kiss on the top of my forehead.

"Hey are you two love birds gonna play or not?" Luke shouted and Ethan punched him on the arm. I remember the day that I had met their little group. It's funny that since that day Spencer and I had become so close and now loved each other.

"I am." I said pressing a softball to Spencer's chest. "We're playing with this."

I walked over to home plate where everybody was gathered but turned around to find Spencer looking at the softball in confusion before running to catch up with me.

"Okay how are we gonna do this?" Marcus asked putting an arm around McKay

"How about every other inning we switch from playing softball to playing baseball?" Jake offered. Jake was cute and I wanted him and Hannah to become an item but nothing had happened yet. I really do like to barge in to other peoples love lives, but Hannah and Jake were meant for each other. Like it was a match made in heaven. One True Pair, just they weren't a pair yet.

"Sounds good to me." Hannah said and Jake looked her up and down definatly checking her out. I squeeled in my head at the thought of them together but kept it together.

"Me too." Spencer said and I had almost forgot that I had a boyfriend for a spilt second.
"Let's go then." Ethan said picking up the bucket of balls and bat bag.

"Softball first." I said "and you can bat first." I threw my glove on and went to the pitcher's mound. Well actually I took a few steps forward from the mound. I was the pitcher on our team and had been for years and years.

"Three up three down." Katie, another member of my team shouted from outfeild. I had recruited 6 players from our team including Hannah and McKay to come and play. We were short a few but so was the other team so Katie was the only one in the outfeild and we didn't have a shortstop.

"Give me a few warm up pitches." I said since I hadn't had time to warm up because we had spent that time in the car kissing. I pitched the ball and it was a little bit to the left.

"You call that a pitch?" Marcus yelled from the dougout.

"Shut up Marcus, I bet you can't hit it." I threw two more less than perfect pitches before getting a strike. "I'm ready." I laughed and Marcus stepped up to the plate.

I took a deep breath and threw.

"Strike." Cody said who was being the umpire. I smiled taking a look at Marcus who was embarassed.

"Don't be embarassed Marcus, it's not like the softball is easier to hit or anything." I said mocking what he had told me earlier. He was determined that he could hit it because it was easier.

On the next pitch he hit it directly into McKay's glove. McKay was playing first base because she was the best at 1st.

Next up was Ethan and he hit it into outfeild, where there was only one player present, Katie, so he easily scored a double.

"Here we go babe." Spenc said as he walked up to the plate. He hit the base a few times before he was ready to hit it. He stepped forward and put his bat up, ready to hit. Man did he look hot, unfortunatly for me he wasn't wearing baseball pants but he still looked really hot without them in his dark blue basketball shorts and Malibu baseball t-shirt.

I took a step and threw the ball, but he was too busy staring at me to even swing.

"Get it together Spenc." Jake said and I just smiled. This was going to be easier than I thought.

I pitched it again but Spencer hit it into rightfeild. He easily got a triple because to be quite honest Katie sucks. The boys scored one with Ethan and we had Spencer on third.

"Plays at home." Hannah shouted just making sure everybody knew. She was the catcher and it was a great Pitcher Catcher pair because we knew each other so well.. Jake was up. Well this might be a problem because I did know that Hannah would probably get distracted by him. I threw the perfect pitch but Hannah missed it.

"God Damn." I whispered to myself as I ran to home plater where Spencer was going for a steal. the ball rolled and Hannah chased it and soon got a grip on it while I waited at home for Spencer as he ran towards me.

"Hannah" I shouted and finallly she threw the ball to me Just as Spencer slid across the plate.

"Safe." Cody called

"Safe?" I said argueing and looked at Spencerwho was still lying on the ground smiling. I could resist and smiled at him. "Fine."

We played for hours and hours before finally leaving and heading back to my house. I will not discuss the final score or who won.

I invited most everybody back to house (most not including Katie, and the other players on my team other than Hannah and McKay).

We all piled into three cars and drove back to my house.

"Mom, I'm home and I brought guests." I yelled as I opened the door just to let her know in advance.

"Oh Great Honey, but......" She paused as she saw everybody at the door. "Wow you brought a lot of guests." She got off subject and walked back into the kitchen. "Honey, I need to talk to you really fast."

"Spenc, will you take everybody downstairs and I'll get some popcorn.?" I said and walked back into the kitchen. "What is it mom?"

"Well Mikey left to the airport, I just thought you would want to know." She said making me freeze. I wanted him to go but not without telling me.

"Mom?" I asked as I grabbed my car keys off the table. "I need you to entertain them for a while, I am going to say goodbye to Mikey." I ran off out the door as fast as I could. driving was hard as I struggled to hurry to the airport. I didn't know when his plane was leaving, and what if he had any layovers, but I was determined to find him and tell him goodbye. He deserved that at least.
