To The People Who Have Had Their Hearts Stomped on And To The People Who Have Yet To Experience Their First Love

Your first love is always the most innocent thing and pure thing a person can experience.

This is the butterflies in your stomach,
The anticipation of if they like you back,
The rush you get when they barely brush their skin against yours.
This is the peace before the storm.

You aren't sure what to expect,
You're just like a baby that has just been born,
So pure and innocent yet,
You aren't aware of what's coming up.

Not everyone's love is what they imagine it will be like,
Some are beautiful,Some are horrible,
Some are heart-breaking.

So many people have no idea what to expect,
They might think they're alone when their heart breaks for the first time.
It's going to hurt, No matter what happens,
You will feel like everything has turned to shit,
That nothing else matters anymore.
But it does.

For the people who had their heart broken,
It's okay if you still think about them,
Your first love sticks with you no matter how much you want to forget.
Your heart might break into,
But the world isn't going to end.
You can patch it up, Dear.

Your heart is going to break into,
You will cry,
But that doesn't make you weak.
The fact that your heart broke into,
Shows that you are alive,
That you have feelings, That you're a human being.

Do not hate yourself for feeling this way.
To the people who have yet to have their first love, When your heart feels like it's been ripped apart,
When you feel trapped in the dark;
Remember,
You are not alone.
You can patch yourself up.
You can heal from this.
Do not be afraid of feeling this pain,
Time will help with the throbbing that's coming from your chest.
You may not think it's true and that you will feel this forever and
That's just fine.

Just remember that everything is going to be okay,
This will make you stronger,
You will find someone new,
And the pain will eventually fade. It may hurt right now but it will get better,
Believe me, Dear,
You will smile again,
You'll be okay once again.
