Seeing For Yourself

I remember when I got my new glasses or was it when I had to get my first pair?
I'm not sure but I remember,
That I could see,
And after so many years,
It was as if I was seeing for the first time in my life.

The leaves.

I could see the detail in the leaves.

I'm just thinking that my dad must have been so happy to know that his little girl could see,

I don't know how parents could deal with their children being blind or deaf,

But I do know,

That once you can finally see or hear,

It's amazing.

I'm not sure if I would wish this on anyone,

Not being able to see perfectly

, But if you do have this or anything of the sort,

You realize how precious the simple things that you have are,

And how so many people are lucky that this isn't them.

The world is a beautiful place,

Some people may not think that where they are is;

I'm not sure if anyone here thinks the world is beautiful,

But I do.

The sun, The Car, The Trees,

Everything that I can set my eyes on,

Is beautiful.

But I guess you have to see it for yourself,

To realize, How beautiful everything really is.
