I hate what you do to me, You control everything that I do and I feel like a caged animal.

You'll open the cage and I'll think I'll be free, I can see the bright sun but as soon as I start moving towards the light, you close it in my face. You are the cruelest thing to ever live because you cage us,
You make us do things that threatens our life,
Poppin' pills,
Cutting skin,
Smokin' to get high,
We all have something that makes you leave for a while but you always come back.

You decided it was cool to bring your best friend and invited her inside,
She's the one who makes me shake and question everything.

Depression tells me no one cares and when I think I'm gonna be okay, he whispers "You aren't okay. School is gonna be worse, oh don't forget about your dad and your best friend- oops, Ex-friend, sorry sweetie"
Then she comes and touches my hand. She says "Who cares about you? Are you sure they're your friend dear? Everyone has said they love you and can't live without you and most leave"

I start shaking and can't control myself,
I don't want to do anything,
But I do at the same time,
They haunt me everyday and only sometimes they leave
But they always,
They always come back.
