THIS IS A DOUBLE UPDATE SO YEAH

Also, I was in a bad situation and I cried so this is late. What happened was when I went to go write, it said I didn't have enough storage to do it so I had to pick between pictures of Josh and pictures of my family.

Guess which ones I chose.

One of the reasons why Nicole stopped talking in the first place was because she flipped out on the people close to her. Her dad would handle it but her friends? She didn't want to lose one of the best things that's happened to her due to her issues. She was scared at how fast she was falling for Josh.

So she avoided him. When she left his house the following morning, she got up before him and just left a note on the table. She didn't text him back but Monday was going to be different. She had four classes with him. It was kinda impossible.

"Hey Nic" Josh said when he arrived in Chemistry, taking his spot next to his crush. Nicole simply nodded at him.

"So about Friday night-" the bell rang before he could finished.

Saved by the bell, Nicole thought. She got lucky because today was a note day. They just took notes all class. No interaction with partners.

That is until Josh slid a folded up piece of paper to Nicole.

She picked it up and opened it, reading it to herself.

You okay?

She wrote one word back - yeah.

Josh stared at it for a minute before he started writing again.

No you aren't talking to me

Nicole rolled her eyes and just crumpled the paper up.

Calm down, she said to whispered almost inaudibly to herself, Calm down.

At this point, Nicole was mad. She wasn't completely sure why but she felt like she was going to explode on someone and she didn't want that someone to be Josh.

So throughout the two classes they had together before lunch, she didn't speak. Of course Josh wanted her to but it was only because he thought something was wrong. Not because he just didn't want her to go back to her mute ways.

But lunch? Well, lunch was... Different.

Nicole took her usual spot (since Ashely left last week) and Josh took his. He didn't try to pressure Nicole into talking.

"Hey Josh" Ashley strutted up to the table and leaned on the end, where Josh sat, with her elbows.

"Uh hey Ashley. Where have you been? Nicole kinda took your spot" Josh explained.

Nicole smiled at her, trying to keep her cool.

"Ohh yeah, little miss... Anyway, have you thought about that date?" She asked.

"You know what? I actually did. I don't really think I wanna go. It's not anything against you but I kinda just wanna focus on school and the band right now" Josh explained.

"Are you sure?" She asked again.

"Yeah"

"1000% positive?" She pushed.

"Oh my fucking," Nicole whispered under her breathe. She said the next thing out loud. To Ashley. "He said no" she turned her attention to the teal-haired girl.

"What?"

"I said," Nicole stood up and walked in front of Ashley. "Josh said no. Stop pushing it"

"Well who are you to tell me what to do?" Ashley shot back.

"Oh I can't. Its just a tip that highly suggest you take before this gets out of hand" Nicole said.

"What, is little miss mute gonna fight me?" Ashley said confidently.

"I don't throw the first punch" Nicole said.

"Nic stop" Josh stepped up next to her.

"Don't worry Josh. She won't do anything." Ashley said.

"You are so pushing it right now" Nicole said. She was trying so hard to keep her cool.

"What? Oh god, I can't believe you actually think you have the guts to do something. Drop the act! You're just some fake, poor girl. Nobody likes you anyway" Ashley said.

"Ashley" Josh gave her a warning.

"Really? I'm fake? The only reason why you're even friends with Josh is to bang him like screen door in a fucking hurricane. All you wanna do is get in his pants." She said. She saw Ashley's facial expression noticeably change from confident to hurt and Nicole knew she had crossed the line but she couldn't stop. "Oh and poor huh?," Nicole reached into her back pocket and pulled out a twenty dollar bill, giving it to Ashley. "Why don't you go buy yourself some better insults?" Nicole regretting this as soon as she said it. There was a teacher approaching them but Nicole ran. She just left. She went straight to the auditorium. She heard Josh calling her name before she even got out of the cafeteria but she didn't stop.

She sat in the same seat as last time. She pulled her knees to her chest in the small seat and started crying. She hated when she just blew up on people. Josh probably didn't even wanna talk to her now.

Everything that she had built with him had just came crumbling down because she couldn't control her anger.

This is short but it's a dOUBLE UPDATE YAY
