*Two Weeks Later, April 27th*

Elise's POV

It had been two weeks since we all celebrated Abbie's birthday, and now mine was here. Really, this day hasn't been anything very special to me since leaving Maine again after college, that time for good when I was pregnant with Abbie. The norm for me has been just treating it like a regular day, and if I worked usually my co-workers would do something even though they know I don't really celebrate my birthday. It's always just been good enough to be with Abbie, that was the perfect birthday for me. But Jimmy wouldn't let me not celebrate this year, and he was forcing me to let him come up with a way to celebrate tonight after I get out of work.

This morning I woke up to Jimmy singing 'Happy Birthday' in my ear softly, and then I got a kiss when I opened my eyes. Before she left for school, Abbie gave me a big hug and wished me a happy birthday, and then before I left for work I got another kiss from Jimmy as well as a hug. Upon arriving at work, I was wished a happy birthday from nearly everyone I passed as I made my way up to the office I share with Camryn. Camryn also wished me a happy birthday, and she did well to make a big deal out of it, as she momentarily became an opera singer when I walked through the door. In the late morning, I received flowers from Jimmy, which made me smile. Though they don't have studio time today, Larry came into my office after lunch break and we revisited our deal that we made a while back that if I co-managed Avenged Sevenfold for a while and everything went well, I could become their full time manager if I wanted to. By the time he left, the guys were handed over to me completely, but I wasn't going to tell them until Monday when I'd just come into the studio without Larry.

Now, it was nearly time for me to head home to a big goober and a little goober. Just as I logged off my computer and put some papers away, Camryn already having left, there was a knock at the door and then it swung open to reveal the big goober and the little goober themselves. Abbie came bouncing over with a big smile on her face as usual, making herself comfortable right in my lap.

"Hey! I wasn't expecting to see you two here this afternoon." I greeted them.

"I was riding around with Matt, and I decided to pick the rugrat up from school and then he dropped us off here." Jimmy explained as he walked over to where I was. I nodded in response, and then Abbie said excitedly,

"We're gonna go out and eat food for your birthday!"

Laughing a little, I replied, "Oh are we?" I looked up at Jimmy, and he grinned and nodded.

"We'll meet the others there straight from here." He said. I finished taking care of things for the night and stood up from my desk with Abbie hanging on to me.

As we waited in the elevator, Abbie told me what she did at school today and how glad she was that it was Friday so she can sleep in tomorrow. She's always happy when Friday comes around, just for that reason. Jimmy drove us to one of my favorite restaurants, where everyone was waiting for us at a huge reserved table, kids included. Upon arriving at the table, they all shouted a big 'happy birthday' to me and I thanked them before sitting down.

The others had already ordered their drinks, and Elise, Abbie and I already knew what we wanted to eat by the time the waiter came around, so we ordered our drinks and food at the same time, catching us up to the others.

"I still don't get why you won't let us buy presents for you." Sabal said.

"Because I don't need them." I told her.

"Well, I still got you something." Jimmy looked at me.

"But I--"

"No if's, and's, or but's. You're getting at least one present whether you like it or not."
