When I woke up in the morning, I woke up to Elise's face and I was instantly overjoyed. She was still asleep, and I just studied her face for a moment with a small smile on my face. I reached out and gently let my hand rest on her cheek, tucking some of her hair behind her ear. Her eyes fluttered open and met mine, and she smiled at me as her hand came up and covered mine on her cheek.

"Good morning." I whispered out.

"Morning." She replied. "What time is it?"

"I dunno. Some hour in the morning." I said, and she just smirked. I brought myself closer to her and continued, "I don't care, 'cause I get to spend the day with you."

"Jimmy, I have to work, remember?" She remined me, and my heart dropped.

I let out a groan mixed with a whine. "Aww, dammit! ...You wanna maybe call in sick?"

She gasped over dramatically. "James! Are you asking me to lie to my boss!?"

"Yes. But only out of loooove!" I protested.

Elise laughed. "No, I'm not going to call in sick. I have that meeting to attend still."

"But... but... wouldn't you rather stay here with meeee?" I said as I started kissing my way up her arm, over her shoulder to her neck and her cheek, before finally reaching her lips.

"As much as I would love to, I can't."

I continued to try and persuade her with kisses, kissing her neck again. "But you hate meetings. You love me. See? Problem solved." Her fingers ran up through my hair, and I knew I was creating a challenge for her.

"Jimmy, though that's very true, and I really would rather stay here and let you kiss me all day, I can't do that. And as hard as you're making it for me to get out of bed, I've got to get up." She gently pushed me off of her, and I sighed.

"Oh alright. But can I at least take you out on your lunch break then?"

"What about Kaylee? My lunch break's at twelve and that's when she gets out of school."

"I'll ask my mother to come over and watch her while I'm out. You know she won't object, especially if I tell her it's to be with you."

She smiled. "Then it's ok with me." I grinned and watched her get up and go into the bathroom. I looked over at the clock and noticed we were about an hour early getting up this morning, but I didn't care.

I heard the water turn on in the bathroom and I smirked to myself, knowing I had a golden opportunity here. I flung the covers off of me and rolled out of bed, landing on my feet. I stood up and stretched a little before I went to the bathroom door. Elise was just getting out the towels set out. I walked in and wrapped my arms around her waist, and she looked up at me.

"Maybe you should let me shower with you. I wouldn't want you to get lonely in there or anything." I hinted seductively.

"I doubt that'll happen, but good effort." She started to pull away from me, but I pulled her right back.

"Not so fast! I need a shower too, and it would be just easier for us to shower at the same time. Saves water too, we could be helping the planet, y'know." I pressed my lips to her neck again, sucking on her soft spot.

I heard a soft moan leave her lips before she said, "You're making things incredibly difficult for me."

"Good." I mumbled against her skin. "C'mon, you know you don't want to get in that shower alone." I slid my hands under her shirt, ready to pull it off of her as soon as she gave in.
