I'll Be Back...

~27~

'Katie's POV'

"Thank you for everything you have done." Jai spoke to the nurse.

It's been 2 weeks since Jai woke up and he has recovered enough to come back home which I am so happy about because I am sick of seeing this room.

We exited the hospital and I helped Jai get into the car as his leg wasn't completely healed but he didn't need crutches.

"Can we go to yours because I really can't be bothered seeing all the boys at the moment, they will probably make a big fuss, I mean I know I'm amazing and all but a guy needs his space." Jai said to me with a smirk on his face.

"Harhar your so funny." I said with a sarcastic tone. "But yes we can go back to my apartment, Tessa will probably be at your house or with Beau anyway, so we should be alone. My mum was here this week but she decided to catch a flight last night and leave us to it"

"Oo alone huh?" He raised an eyebrow at me with a cheeky grin on his face.

"There will be none of that business until your fully better, your just going to have to suck it in big boy" I patted his knee as he pouted. Men.

We finally arrived at my apartment so I parked on the car park and helped Jai get out of the car. We reached my front door and I unlocked it. It felt like forever since I'd stayed here. Yes, even though Jai was awake and a lot better I still stayed with him in the hospital just to keep him company.

"Can I get you anything?" I asked him whilst he made himself comfortable on the couch.

"Could I have a glass of water please?" He replied fluttering his eyelashes. I nodded and headed into the kitchen.

I looked in the fridge to see if there was any food in but there was nothing. I guess we will be ordering a takeaway tonight. I walked back into the living room and handed Jai his water.

"Thanks babe." He spoke and took a sip from his glass.

I was about to walk away and head to my bedroom but a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me back. Jai pushed me into his lap not caring about his leg, and held onto me tightly.

"Thank you for everything you have done for me, I would have been nowhere without you." Jai hummed in my ear, kissing my cheek.

I shuffled around so my legs wrapped around the side of his waist and sat on top of his stomach whilst he was stretched out along the couch.

"Your welcome." I smiled.

He looked deeply in my eyes and lifted his hand towards my cheek. He stroked it with his thumb as his fingers travelled in my hair. He lightly pulled my head down and I began to fall down with it. Our foreheads connected as his hands slid down to my waist.

"I love you." He whispered.

"I love you too" I whispered back and connected out lips.

Our lips moved in sync as his warm hands slipped up the back of my top. My fingers tangled in his hair as he let out a soft moan. His tongue trailed hungrily along my bottom lip and I gladly opened my mouth never wanting this to end. We both pulled away out of breath before it got too heated and I lay my head down onto Jai's chest being careful of his leg.

"I can't wait until your leg is better." I spoke still trying to catch my breath.

"Oh don't worry, neither can I." He smiled mischievously at me.

Throughout the day we watched a few movies until we both decided we were hungry. I got up and went to find a pizza menu so we can order some food. We finally chose what we wanted and I ordered the food. I feel like this is all we will be doing for the next week, which doesn't bother me at all. 

Shortly after there was a knock on the door and the guy gave us our food.

"This smells amazing." I hummed feeling my mouth water already.

I sat back down on the couch next to Jai and I opened up the pizza box and quickly grabbed a slice.

"Oh my god that was so much better than hospital food." Jai stated letting out a groan of pleasure.

"Tell me about it."

It got to around 11pm and we were both nearly falling asleep so we decided to go to bed.

Jai started limping to the bedroom whilst I turned all the lights off in the room. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth before heading into the bedroom.

I walked in to find Jai already tucked up in bed, lying on his side. I slid in beside him and turned my bedside lamp off leaving us in complete darkness.

Jai rolled over facing me and slid his arm around my waist pulling me into his chest. I wrapped my arm around him and lightly kissed his forehead. 

"Goodnight Jai."

"Goodnight beautiful." He mumbled.
