I'll Be Back...

'Katie's P.O.V'

It is currently 4am and my bags are all packed for England. Tessa just phoned for a taxi too the airport.

Not once did I get a text from Jai last night. Nobody did. For all I know I could have just been talking to the door last night and Jai might have not even been in his room.

"Taxi's here." Tessa nudged my back disturbing my thoughts. She's lucky to have someone like Beau who is always there for her. Not that Jai was never there for me but where is he now when I need him the most?

I locked the door to our apartment and we walked down the stairs and hopped into the taxi.

Beau and Tessa were in the back and I chose to sit in the front. I put my headphones in and stared out the window. I will miss this place so much. But most of all, I will miss Jai.

He is supposed to be here with me now. Saying goodbye. Giving me his warming hugs. But I just had to take it the wrong way. I should have listened to him in the first place. None of this would have never happened if it wasn't for me. It's all my fault.

The car came to a stop and I noticed we was outside the airport. 

We rolled our suitcases inside and went up to the check in desk to put our bags through. Tessa and Beau have never separated. It's like they are attached at the hip.

We went to grab some breakfast from McDonalds because we had some free time.

It was now 4:30am and the plane leaves at 5:00am. After we finished our food we thought it would be best to say goodbye.

I gave Beau a big hug and tears were already gushing down my face.

"Hey, don't cry we will see you again soon okay?" Beau hugged me tighter.

"Yeah sorry, I'll miss you loads though." I replied.

"I'll miss you too slut." he winked.

Beau and Tessa said their goodbyes for like 10 minutes and I was just stood there like a wet lemon. Yeah.

It was now 4:50. We said our final goodbye to Beau and walked quickly through security.

"Flight 953 to Manchester Airport is now available to boarded." The speaker spoke as I took a deep breath on stood up from my seat.

We got our boarding passes out and handed them to the lady. She scanned them through and passes us them back.

"Have a safe flight!" She squeaked. How could someone be so awake this early in the morning.

We walked down the tunnel and headed onto the plane. We found our seats and I called the window seat. Yeah bitch.

I checked my phone. No messages. I turned it on airplane mode and plugged my earphone in.

I miss Jai.

I want Jai.

I need Jai.

Tears started rolling down my cheeks uncontrollably. I can't believe I might never see him again.

The lights came on above us for us to fasten our seat belts as the plane was about to take off. The tears came down faster and faster.

"Hey, you okay?" Tessa asked.

I simply nodded my head. But I'm not okay. I'm broken. I can't be fixed. I am going back home not knowing whether Jai is looking for me or not. How could I be okay?

The plane started to roll and soon enough we was in the air.

The flight wasn't that bad I just slept for most of it. We got off the plane and went to collect our luggage. I text my mum telling her we have arrived and she said she is waiting in the car park.

We found our suitcases and wheeled them out. We headed to the car park and it took us a while to find the car.

"MUM!" I screamed. I dropped my bag and ran up to her. My mum lives on her own. My dad left when I was about 2 but I still stay in contact with him. He is one of the best dads I could have ever asked for. He is always there for me. I am an only child so my mum has been on her own for 4 weeks.

"OH MY GOD! I missed you so much." My mum hugged me tight. It felt so nice to be hugged again.

"I missed you too mum."

"So how was it? Will you be going back? Did you do anything fun? Did you meet new friends? Any boys?"

Tears started to brim in my eyes once again when she mentioned boys. I held them back.

"Woah mum one question at a time!" My voice cracked.

"Are you crying? Are you okay?" My mum asked me.

"I'm fine mum. Anyway let's get back home." I sighed.

We all hopped into the car and mum dropped Tessa off at her house before heading back to ours.

We finally reached home and it felt good to be back. I lugged my suitcase up the stairs and into my bedroom.

It doesn't feel two minutes ago since I was pulling this down the stairs ready to leave for LA.

Mum made me a hot cup if tea and we sat on the couch. I told her everything. I wasn't sure whether to tell her about Jai or not.

"I met a boy." It just came out like word vomit.

"Ooooo laaaa laaaa who who who???" My mum sounded like a teenager. Wow.

"He's called Jai and I am in total love with him." Tears threatened to fall. "He is just an amazing person. We met at a breakfast shop that he works with and he is from the Janoskians. Remember when I was obsessed with them. Anyway we bumped into each other again and we got along really well." Now for the bad part."Something bad happened before we left, um. Last night we was watching a movie and he went to the toilet. He left his phone behind and it pinged. I looked in the screen and it was a text from his ex saying 'when are you going to dump her' something along those lines." I couldn't hold them back any longer the tears were flooding out and my mum was rubbing my back. "I yelled at him thinking he was cheating in me, when he wasn't. I got the wrong end of the stick. His ex was Ariana Grande and she has been sending him texts trying to make it look like he's cheating on me so we will break up and she can get back together with him. Jai's brother Beau, who is Tessa's boyfriend explained everything too me."

I was in bits. My eyes were stinging from crying so much.

"Did you not go and explain to him?" My mum asked.

"Yeah I went to his house when I found out but his bedroom door was locked. I still spoke through it just in case he was in there but I could have just been talking to the door. He hasn't text me or anything."

"It's still early yet babe, he might have fallen asleep or something." My mum hugged me.

I sighed. It's all my fault.
