Chapter 18.

Leo was doing well in training, and so were you. He had started joining you at your weekly fights with Phasma and your force studies with Kylo. Leo had reached the point where he trusted you and you had a bond. He also had gained a friend in Phasma, who was surprisingly good with kids.

"Leo, hand me that staff so I can finish (Y/N) off." She smirked and Leo threw her the staff.

"Leo! You are supposed to be on my side!" You laughed and blocked Phasma's attacks. Leo giggled in the corner and clapped his hands when you hit her in the side. She came back with a sweep under your legs and you fell to the ground. You all laughed and the door slid open. Kylo stepped in wearing a black t-shirt and slacks.

"(Y/N), can I speak to you?" he called you over. You gave him a kiss on the cheek to greet him. His voice lowered and he whispered, "I'd like a training session alone with Leo if that is alright." You raised your eyebrows in surprise. It had been several weeks since Leo came to live with you and Kylo had spent minimal time alone with him.

"Sure?" You questioned. You motioned to Leo and he walked over. "Leo, Kylo wants to have a private training session with you." He nodded and followed Kylo out of the training room. You walked back to Phasma and sat down next to her. "That was weird, Kylo never wants to be alone with Leo." Phasma shrugged.

"Maybe it's a good thing." She held out a piece of bread to you and you both ate together. "Leo is a good kid." She said with a bit of a smile.

"Yeah. He's only been here for a little bit but I already feel like we are family." Phasma smiled at this.

"He's a fast learner and takes orders well. If I ever-" She stopped in thought. "If I ever had a child I'd hope they were like Leo." You frowned.

"Phasma, do you want kids?" You asked. She sighed.

"Its just not in the cards for me (Y/N)." She shuffled some equipment into her bag.

"Because of your job?" You inquired, you didn't mean to pry but you had reached a level of comfort with Phasma. You two were now friends.

"No. My job allows a time for leave if I could have kids. However, I have no interest in men, which are key to producing children." You were confused as waited for her to explain more. She said nothing.

No interest in men? What does she-

"OH." Your face felt hot and you tried to hide your embarrassment. "You uh, like women?" She nodded and slung her bag over her shoulder.

"I hope that won't be a problem. See you next week (Y/N)." She left the training room and you decided to head back to your own quarters. The halls were filled with stormtroopers that sidestepped away from you. Obviously you still weren't off the hook from when you flung that stormtrooper into a wall.

Upon entering the quarters you heard Kylo's deep voice speaking and Leo's  shrill laugh. You walked to Leo's room and found Leo with a small lightsaber. Kylo stood behind him with a hint of a smile on his face.

"Good, now strike." Leo followed Kylo's instructions and hit the training dummy. He turned around to Kylo with a huge smile on his face.

"Was that good??" He asked excitedly. Kylo gave him a genuine smile back and quickly deactivated Leo's saber.

"Yes, but you should be more careful where you wave that thing." He laughed a bit and put the saber in a box. "Let's go see where (Y/N) is." He patted Leo's back and they both turned to see you leaning against the door.

"So, how was the training?" You gave Kylo a wink. A slight redness hit the tops of his cheeks.

"It was very educational." Kylo said. Stepping away from Leo a bit. Leo in turn ran forward to you and took your hand.

"It was so cool! Master Kylo gave me a lightsaber and taught me how to turn it on and how to swing and everything!" Leo jumped up a bit with each word and Kylo smiled behind him.

"Yes, now go wash up, I need to speak to (Y/N)." Leo ran off and left the two of you alone. Kylo stepped forward and gave you a long kiss. His lips were soft and eager. He held your hips to him and rested his forehead against yours.

"What was that for?" You giggled, staying pressed against him.

"I feel like we never spend any time together." He said with what sounded like a whine. You caressed his face and gave the tip of his nose a peck.

"I'm sorry. It's just with my training, and Leo's training..." He grumbled a bit under his breath. He walked out to the bedroom with you hot on his heels. He picked up a Com-pad and typed a few things into it.

"Phasma said Leo could stay with her for a few days, she has recreational hours that she wouldn't mind spending with him." He looked up to you and winked. You laughed and gave him a hug.

"Alright I'll have him pack some clothes." You turned to walk off and he gave your behind a light tap. You rolled your eyes and left to find Leo.
