46. The letter

Dean's POV

I was shaking, the contents of the letter were unknown to me, when I ripped the envelope open a strong perfume filled my lungs.

Hi, my name is Dan, if you are reading this I must be dead and for a year or more, you must be Cas's boyfriend/husband and I congratulate you. If he gave you this you have to know he loves you a lot, even more than he loved me and I don't blame him, he is amazing and deserves to be the happiest man alive. This letter is to ask you please try harder, don't give up on him, make him laugh and be there when he gets down, he sometimes gets lost and doesn't know what he is doing or where he is but be there and never judge him. And don't worry about me, he cares and sometimes he will be sad about me but I'm in the past and now you are his present and future, every dream he made with me he will make true with you and I'm happy, I'm happy he found someone to love him as much as I did. Thank you, thank you for making him forget about me and thank you for making him love again.

Tears were streaming down my eyes, this was the most beautiful thing I've ever read, and sometimes I used to get sad about him and conscious about him and Cas, but this changed everything.
I walked down the street thinking about everything that happened in my life and I could stop thinking about how happy my life was now that he was here.

I went back to my house deep in thought when I heard Cas talking to someone.

"I love you, only you and he is nothing next to you, I wish I could be there but you know that I can't and I'm sorry." My heart broke the second I heard that, I ran into the room with tears streaming down my cheeks.

"What did you just said?" I mumbled crying, Cas turned to look at me, his face full of tears. "I knew it, I knew you didn't love me anymore!" I said sobbing, my knees gave out throwing me into the ground.

"Dean, I..." He choked.

"Don't..." I sobbed standing up. "Don't make any more excuses, I tried, but you! You don't love me, you love someone else and I heard you!" I spat, I took my keys and my phone, my heart was pounding, I stood up and ran outside. "Castiel, don't ever look for me again." I hissed while walking away from him.

Cas's POV

I don't understand what happened, one second I was talking to Dean's picture, the real Dean and the other fake Dean was screaming and running outside the room. I couldn't understand how I could screw everything in just a second.

"What is happening?" I mumbled tired, I laid in my bed as my eyes closed.

I didn't dream about anything, everything was white and there was nothing to be heard, until a known voice was screaming, it sounded so far away and it was almost unbearable, I couldn't understand, but the voice came closer and every second I was closer to understanding what it was saying.

"Caaas!?!" It was screaming. "Cas!!!" It was screaming my name, and it was the only sound I could hear.

"Dean?" I mumbled, I woke up and realized Dean was back, let's ask him for forgiveness, let's try to fix things, I know I can love him and we can be happy. "Dean, please forgive me, I was hallucinating, I wasn't myself, please come back." I said walking towards his voice, tears streaming down my cheeks. I felt a strong chest pushing against me, my heart was beating fast. "Please Dean my love forgive me." I cried falling to the ground, I looked up, a pair of green eyes stared at me, he looked surprised, and that's when I realized it was the perfect kind of green.

"Shit, shit! Get away from me!" I said crawling back.  "Don't get near me!" I screamed.

"Cas, please is me, we are here to get you home, this isn't real!" He said, his voice was perfect, his smell was as I remembered.

"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!" I sobbed running away, I couldn't face this, I took my phone as I ran down the stairs.

"Cas?" Sam said looking at me confused, I ran faster than before.

"Don't! Don't you dare!" I said calling fake Dean on my cellphone. "Please answer." I sobbed while running, I could hear them running behind me.

"Cas, stop..." He said but something stopped him. "What is that sound?" He said worried. "Are you crying?" I was sobbing as loud as I could.

"Please help me!" I cried to the phone, in that moment a pair of strong arms hold me tight against a strong chest. "Dean help!" I screamed.

"Cas! Please calm down." Said Sammy in my ear calmingly. I started screaming and kicking around.

"Let me go! Just leave me alone! I don't want this!" I cried while squirming around trying to get free.

"Cas we are here for you!" Dean said confused, he took my phone from my hand and looked at the ID. "Dude who are you calling? Who is My Love?" He spat jokingly. "Hi?" He said into the phone. "Who is this?" He mumbled confused. "What do you mean who am I!?! I asked first!" He hissed to the phone. "No you can't be Dean because I'm Dean!" He yelled. "What? Cas's boyfriend?" He said questioningly. "Dude you're gay?" He asked me as I bit Sammy's arm and ran away as fast as I could.

"Son of a bitch." I heard Dean said and something hitting the floor. I ran as fast as I could and hid on my secret spot.

I could hear them screaming and running around looking for me, I can't let them find me, they can't take me out, I can't ruin Dean like I did before. "I'm sorry." I mumbled as I cut my hand and started drawing some enchantment in my chest just to kill myself.

"Cas, what are you.." Dean mumbled, I was crying. "Why are you bleeding? Cas stop that!" Dean yelled, I could tell just by the voice this was the real Dean, he looked worried and tired but still the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

"Why did you look for me?" I cried falling to my knees. "I was trying to stay away, the inly thing I do is hurt the people I love and I can't, I can't watch you die again." I sobbed, Dean was paralyzed in his place, he was staring at my hand, he could feel something wrong would happen if I finished the enchantment.

"Cas, just..." He said but I interrupted him.

"No Dean! Don't you understand? I love you! I love you more than anything, I tried to stay away and live this lie next to a fake you! I tried to be happy and let you live! And I can't loose you again, I can't live what we lived before just to see you die in the end so stay away, stay way from me, I'm poison." I yelled.

He stopped breathing, his eyes were watering and he laid against a tree. "Cas, why?" He mumbled, I could hear his voice breaking and couldn't stand any longer.

"Is for your own good." I said and he yelled a painful roar.

He ran to me screaming all his pain and hate. "Ahhhhhhh!" He yelled until his voice broke and all I could hear was his sobs as he threw himself against me stopping me from ending the enchantment. "You have no right of choosing what I want and what I don't want in my life!" He said, he was mad, he hit my face and my heart stopped for a second. "You have no right of changing what is already written, you aren't God." He said hitting me again and again until he couldn't any more, my face was bloody and bad, I could feel the excruciating pain as my sight begin to blurry, I felt as his strong arms lift me up as if I was weightless and he walked to his brother, my mind was going blank and all I could think was "I'm home again".
