GABRIELLA POV

I thought we were just going out for dinner, but it turned out to be a whole other story. I can't believe what I just found out, along with Chres. I would've never expected it to be his stepdad because, I never met him. Now that I know who's behind all this, I can't do much since he's a grown man who looks 2 times bigger then me. Even Chres! Though, Chresanto isn't that shorter or smaller then him but he is. All I can really do now is try and get us out of this situation. I looked at the man, then Chresanto. They were both distracted talking about his mom. Should I go? What if the man has a weapon or something? I'm not armed nor is Chres. I noticed the man had a gun in his shoe. Clever. I smirked, then slowly back up trying not to be noticeable. God I hope they don't notice. I kept backing up until I panicked and took off running. I kicked off my heels while trying to run to Chresanto's mom house bare foot. "Gabriella!? What are you doing!?" I heard Chresanto yell. Ignoring him, I kept running. Surrounded by stores and other places, people started staring at me. "You shouldn't have done that!" I heard the man yell. I kept going when I finally hit the neighbor hood. "Gabriella go!" Chres yelled.I felt a sharp pain in my side, and I fell to the ground. Everything around me started getting blurry. I also heard sirens going off, and people start screaming. "Haha." I heard the man laugh. I got on my knees, and tried to fight the pain. It was so hard. Where was my husband? I pulled myself up, and limped down the street. It hurt so bad. I put my hands on my side trying to get to the house already. There was blood sliding down my thigh. I started crying, tears flooded my eyes, and I felt like I was about to pass out. I was about to fall to the ground again, when I felt someone grab my arm roughly. I looked up only to see the man who shot me. "It's not that easy to get away from me. Get yo ass up you little bitch!" he said looking at me. All I saw was evil in his eyes. "Chresanto..." I yelped quietly. Where did he go? Why did I even walk away? That was the only things running through my mind. Other then the fact I might die tonight. The man forced me to walk to wherever he was taking me. My wounded side seemed to be getting worse every second along with the pain. I don't deserve to suffer like this. Why was it always me? My eye sight started getting blurrier and the pain I was feeling didn't even matter to me anymore. "Let go of my wife Michael." I heard someone say. He stopped walking turning around. I dropped to my knees in pain, but he didn't let go of me. His grip on my arm seemed to get tighter, only making the blood flow through my arm slower. I lifted my head up only to soon Chresanto staring straight at me. I saw worry and sorrow in his eyes. This is all my fault. I should've listened to him. "Let her go." he repeated. The man chuckled. "And if I don't?" he said. Chresanto took one small step forward. "Come a little more closer, and I swear to god I'll shoot her, you, and your mother." he said placing the gun to my head. The cold feeling of the tip of the gun on the side of my face wasn't very pleasing. It sent chills down my back. I watched as Chresanto stopped walking, and rubbed the back of his head almost as if he was getting irritated and nervous. I felt the tears streaming down my face and the blood flowing out of me like a river. "Just, hold tight baby girl. I promise I'ma get you out of this. I'm going to bring you home, and hold you in my arms like I always do. Everything will be fine." Chresanto said. That just brought more tears to my eyes. I lifted up my hand only to see my blood covering up every spot on my hand. "What makes you think that?" the man asked him. "Why did you kill me dad?" Chresanto asked ignoring his first question. "For your mom of course. Putting him to death was so unnecessary, but I found joy in it. Covering my tracks was so difficult, but I had experience. Did you know crime television shows really come in handy? But anyway, I only wanted her because her money and she could provide me with so many things. So many things you just won't understand. But, you were the only thing standing between us. Your ass was up to no good. You never liked me. But don't worry, the feelings were mutual. When you finally got rid of me, I was determined to get rid of you. You, ruined everything for me. I had all the money I needed marrying that woman. You were gonna get what you deserved Chresanto. It took me 6 years to plan this out but I finally did it." he said smiling. He pushed Chresanto to the point where he had tears flowing down his cheeks. I hate to see him cry just as much as he hates seeing me cry. It broke my heart in pieces. The man looked down at me and chuckled. "Your little whore wasn't part of the plan. Neither was your kids. But somehow, they found themselves in it. Especially this one." he said kicking me in my mouth so hard. I was really about to black out.
