Chresanto's Point of View.

(Two Years after the Divorce)

"You were my butterfly. I let you go once and it isn't happening again. You're truly mine and mine forever. You'll be mine forever. And I'm in love with you. I know I am now." I said looking at Gabriella. She smiled. "I am in love with you too. And I need you." She said leaning into kiss me. All of a sudden, a loud noise rang in my ear as we were inches away from kissing. All this time without kissing her made me more desperate to feel her lips on mine again. "Beep!" The noise got louder every second! That's when my eyes opened, only to realize it was just a dream. Reality? We're still divorced and nothing has ever changed since final decisions were made two years ago. I'm a 28 year old man and I don't know what the hell I want anymore. I sat up rubbing my eyes. That dream was amazing up until then. It helped me understand how horrible but surprisingly wonderful my life was the past 12 years. Now nothing goes on anymore. Nothing exciting! It's like I'm dead already, with no one to sleep with, to love, or to share. I missed Gabriella so much it almost kills me. And I thought I'd get over the seperation and distance between us by staying away from her. But that only makes it worse. "She can't talk now, dad. Mr. William is coming over in a while and she is trying to get everything ready. So can I come over? Like, all of us! We don't wanna be here when they hit the bed. " Chris said over the phone. Mr. William, Sean William, is a guy that Gabriella has been seeing for a while now. I never met him, but the kids inform me about everything she does. Might as well call me a stalker because I know her whole damn schedule! I've got no life anyway. "Boy, you only 12 years old. You don't know nothing about that. And I'm sure she isn't going to do that. At least I hope she won't. " I said thinking about the first time Gabriella and I got 'intense' with each other. We danced slowly to the song, Wet the Bed by Chris Brown. And at that time, I knew exactly what I was trying to do. I was trying to sleep with her, but just be with her at the same time. The song was just helping me get her in the mood. And when I finally did, she was so scared. Like I was going to hurt her or something. But I took my time to make love to her the way she deserved it. Not abusive, rough, or painful. Just slow and steady enough to make her feel wanted and satisfied. And if I could relive that, I'd do it over and over. "Still not answering my question. Can I come over?" He repeated. I smacked my teeth. "I'm coming over. Bye." I said hanging up the phone on him. Was I being kind of stipid? Yeah, but I was a bit jealous of Sean William. I just wanted to see what I'm up against myself! And if Gabriella plans on actually having sex with this guy. The was my main focus really. I walked up to her door and knocked on it hard. The door soon swung open to Gabriella. She took my breath away. "What are you doing here and why are you banging on my door like that? You have a key, Chresanto." She informed me. I poked my neck out, placed my hands in my pocket, and examimed her nicely set up apartment. Pshh. "What's the place so clean for? Got some plans or something, little lady?" I asked watching her close the door. "I've got company coming over." She said. "I know. My son told me." "Then why did you ask?" I shrugged. "Just wanted to hear it from you. Who's coming?" She rolled her eyes at me. "That isn't anything you should be worried about." "Can't help it, Ella. Even though you don't exactly belong to me anymore, I still worry about you. More than I worry about my car. And you know how much I love my baby, Brittney." I said referring to my car. Her name is Brittney. "That's realy sweet, but you have to go now. He'll be here any minute!" She said attempting to push me out the door. But I moved so she couldn't. "He'll?" I repeated. "That nigga Sean swinging by or something? Hopefully just to tell you he found someone better and has to let you go. If he does though, don't take it personal. There will always be someone better." I said. She half smiled looking at me. "I miss you too, Chres. Every single day." I walked over to her. "Then what do I have to do to take you back? I know it now, Gabriella. You're my woman and no one else." She sighed. "But I don't know. You'll always be my first though. In everything! You were my first love, my first actual boyfriend, my first husband, my first love making baby, my first baby daddy and hell, lets keep it that way. But the list goes on. I still love you, Chresanto. But I moved on. That divorce will forever stand between me and you. Please understand." I looked at her. That last part kind of hurt but I have to keep myself positive! Nothing else. "I understand. But I'll always be here for you. Especially right now. " I said smiling. "But you're not needed right now." She said. "I'll just go check on my kids then. But answer this one question first." "What?" I took a deep breath. "You not trying to have sex with him tonight are you?" She gasped. "It wasn't in my plans, but if it happens it happens." She said laughing. I shook my head. "Not really the answer I was looking for. But as long as you didn't plan on it, I guess I'm good for now." I said. "Alright. Go get yo kids now." She said. "Okay." I kissed her cheek and walked towards the back of the apartment. I seriously wanted to see all my kids. Spend time with them, especially my little princesses. But at the same time, I was trying to stall and waste time. I seriously want to see this Sean William guy! "Papì!" Crystal yelled jumping into my arms. She was so adorable. Too much for me to handle. "My beautiful baby!" I said kissing her cheek. "Are you baby sitting us?" She asked. And when she did, it took me back to the first time Gabriella and I let all our friends babysit Christina and Chris while we went out. When I think about it, it makes me laugh because it is funny now! But that day when we came back home, things were just out of control and we didn't let them babysit the twins for a while after that. Awh, the memories we had as teenage parents. "Naw, I'm just over here t see you guys and your mother. Where's Chrissy and Trey?" I asked putting her down. "Chrissy is in Chris's room playing the xbox with Trey." She said pointing down the hall. I nodded my head. "I'm gonna go see them real fast. I'll be back okay?" "Don't be gone too long." She said making a sad face. I kissed her again. "Never." I whispered to her. She smiled and I wemt to Chris's room. "You're a cheater, Chrissy. I hate playing this game with you!" Trey yelled throwing the joystick on the ground. "Don't get mad because I won and you lost." Christina said laughing at him. "Really guys?" I said walking in. They both jumped up excitedly giving me a big bear hug. I love these little trouble makers so much! "What are you doing here?" Christina asked letting go of me. "I came to see y'all." I said giving her a big wet kiss. She smiled wiping it off her cheek. "That's gross." She said laughing. "No it ain't. " I said kissing her some more. "Even after that, I still love you." She said jumping away from me. I laughed. "Can you tell her to let me win the game? She keeps cheating!" Trey yelled. "You know I'm not cheating. " she said flipping her long brown curly hair. Like mother like daughter. "Hey. You can't get mad because she's better than you." I said. His eyes started watering. "And even if she is, what does she have to win? Nothing but a trophy on a television screen she can't even touch. All that matters is you're having a good time whether you win the game or not. It's not competition unless you want it be. " He smiled. "Okay." Before I could answer him, I heard a manly voice enter the apartment. Its time.
