CHRESANTO POV
"I'm not trading my wife!" I yelled looking at Jacob. He laughed. "Actually, that'd be kind of interesting. You know, to see how each other live." Ruby said looking at all of us. "I'd miss him way too much. How long anyway?" Ella asked. "One week. Lets make a deal. Between me and Chresanto. If you can last one week with my wife and without your wife, I'll give you $250. But if I last one week, You'll have to give me $250 and whoever wins will just be the fighter with a little bit of cash." Jacob said. I rolled my eyes. "250 ain't even that much. And if I can last 2 damn years without my baby, I can last 7 days. Bet." I said holding out my hand. Jacob laughed and shook it. Gabriella's mouth dropped. "Starting today." He added. I just kept shaking his hand while shrugging my shoulders. "Let's go get your stuff baby." I said letting go of his hand and pulling her up. She looked speechless. "Rubs, come over when you ready." I said walking out the door with Ella. I pulled her to the car and she jerked away from me. "Chres, did you really just bet on me and Ruby?" she asked crossing her arms while looking at me. I rolled my eyes. "Sort of. But I'm not about to punk out on this nigga's bet and loose to his ass kissing self." I said looking at her. "How come I didn't get a say in this? You'll be at home with her and I'll be here. I hope you know swapping wives means, I can't talk to you or see you for a whole week unless you loose." she smirked. "Wait what?" I asked looking at her confused. She just nodded her head. "I don't even care though. You'll miss me though. I know you will. Oh and don't get mad when you're the one who said it yourself." she said getting in the car. I stood there watching her for a moment trying to think. I didn't know I couldn't see her. I thought she just had to stay there for the week. On second thought, I might just loose after all. And even though I said I could last a week with Gabriella, deep down, I know I just can't. I got in the car trying to clear my mind. "I can't do this babe. I can't even go a day without seeing you." I said looking over at her. She shrugged her shoulders. "You do realize you're the one who said it in the first place. You're the one who said bet and you're the one who said you could do it. Even though it's really me and Ruby doing the most." she said looking forward. I shook my head slowly and starting the car. We drove home and went inside. She didn't hesitate at all before going upstairs to pack some clothes to bring over Jacobs house. I followed her in the room while watching her pull out clothes and clothes I just didn't approve with. "Nah. You're only allowed to take long sleeve shirts, and pants. No thongs, no super fancy designed bras, no tank tops, no shorts, no short sleeves, no heels, no skirts, no dresses, no none of that." I said shaking my head at her. She chuckled. "You're acting like Jacob is a complete stranger bound to do something you don't want him to do to me." she said crossing her arms. Before I could say anything, she opened her mouth again. "And not only that, but he's married to a girl he's been with since middle school. Plus, he's seen me in all those things except for the thongs and bras. Be for real now. Do you think he's lecturing Ruby about this stuff?" she asked. "Well if he isn't then he doesn't care if I do something to the woman!" she stood up and walked over to me. "But I know you wouldn't. And actually, if he isn't it only means he trusts his long time good friend Chresanto August." she said kissing my cheek and continuing to pack her stuff. "But baby..." I said pouting. "Chresanto. Do you trust me?" she asked. "Of course I do. What kind of question is that?" I asked getting frustrated. "I'm not going to do anything wrong. Or, anything that will affect their marriage or ours. We're adults now. Not teenagers. And if you trust me the way I think you do, then you wouldn't worry about me. I'm not worried about you because I know for a fact you won't do anything you shouldn't do. Especially with the little ones running around 24/7." she smiled. I sighed because she was right. "Okay. I'll calm down a little. But you still can't wear any of the clothes I said no to." She laughed and finished packing everything she needed for the week. If she cooks for the 2 of them, he'll finally get to taste my woman's food! She sure does know how to cook though. That's why she comes in handy around the house. I heard the doorbell ring downstairs so I answered it and it was Ruby. She had 3 suitcases and was looking the exact way Ella was when she was trying to get an explanation as to why we bet on them. "You don't happen to have any half naked clothing in there do you?" I asked her. She looked at me weirdly. "No..?" she said confused. I nodded my head looking at her bags. "All those is for just one week?" I asked. She nodded her head. "Yeah. Where do you want me to put them though?" she asked. "Guest room." I said letting her walk in. As soon as she did, Ella came down with just 1 suitcase. I sighed knowing I had to let her go for 7 days. She half smiled setting her bag by the door and walking in front of me. "Why'd I agree to this?" I asked grabbing her by her waist. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I kissed her slowly. "I'm still trying to figure that out." she said quietly. I laughed a little kissing her slowly again. "It's only 7 days though right? I just have to keep myself entertained and busy to keep you off my mind." I said looking at her lips. I felt my eyes watering. She gasped. "Chresanto, why are you crying? It's only a few days. It'll go by fast I promise." she said rubbing my cheek. "It's not that though. I'm gonna miss your cooking and your loving. That's all I need." she smirked. "If you're acting like this before I even left yet, you're going to loose. I know so." she said laughing. I chuckled and kissed her again but it was much better then the first 2 kisses I gave her minutes ago. "Maybe. But you better go baby." I said unwrapping my arms from around her waist. She made a sad face letting go of me too. "Okay. I'll miss you." she said picking up her bag and opening the door. I sighed. "You know I'm gonna miss you. I love you." I said kissing her one last time. "I love you too." with that being said, I watched her close the door slowly and driving away in her car. I closed my eyes thinking about what started all this. Why'd I bet on my wife?
GABRIELLA POV
I'm not that excited nor happy about the bet Jacob and Chres made, but I'm not worried. I know the man is going to lose. When I pulled up at Jacob's house, I got out the car and went to the door. I rang the doorbell of course and waited for a response. When the door finally opened Jacob he was shirtless and was eating a bowl of cereal. I never really stopped to look at him when he didn't have a shirt on. But considering he was right in front of me this time, I took a little glance. His abs were good for Ruby but Chresanto's are better. "Hey.." I said focused directly on his eyes. "Calm down Gabriella you're acting like you never seen me like this before. No shirt is the occasional body image for me in this house." he said walking away. I smirked walking inside. I set my stuff down and sat down on the couch. I miss Chresanto already. "Where's the baby?" I asked him. "Her grandmother." he said. Simple. He always seems to have a bad attitude with everyone sometimes. How does Ruby deal with it? I rolled my eyes and got up. "I'm going to go lay down now." I said walking up the steps. He shrugged his shoulders. "You know the way." he said continuing to eat his food. I walked into the guest room and what I saw when I walked in was unacceptable. It was a mess. Clothes were everywhere in piles, yet empty baskets filled the closet. I took a deep breath trying to ignore the mess I was surrounded by, but it was no use. I immediately started cleaning up every inch of the room. I didn't know where anything went, but what I did might make it look cleaner in here. When I was done, I smiled. That's when Jacob walked in. "Oh, don't touch the clothes. I was doing some color coding laundry th--PAUSES." I looked back at him in complete shock. "Surprise." I said smiling. He took a deep breath placing his hand on his head. "Why.." he asked. "It was a mess Jacob. How am I suppose to lay in a room that's a mess?" I asked quickly. "Ignore it maybe." he said shaking his head at me annoyed. "Well if you know me by now, I can't live like that whether it's laundry day or give away day." He chuckled. "It's only been 10 minutes Lala. 10 damn minutes and I know this isn't going to work." Now he's over exaggerating. It's just some clothes. Then again, it's Jacob we're talking about. "Well you should have thought about that before you and Chresanto bet on me and Ruby. Did you even stop to ask us if we were okay with this? No you didn't. Neither did Chresanto though. How do you think that makes us feel? I hope she got on to you about that because I did with Chresanto. But don't worry. I'm going to make our time together a living hell for pay back. You'll have to miss your wife so much you'll lose and I can go back home." I said smiling. He laughed. "You're funny. But, I'm not losing this bet. Chresanto is and you can try as hard as you want. But I'm not losing to a faggot." he said smiling back at me. "Did you ... Did he just? For your information, my husband is not a faggot. You're lucky I haven't kicked your ass yet. I'm just not about to sit here and listen to you talk bad about him when none of it is true. So maybe I will." I said. He looked at me for a moment, then ran out the room. I chased him and it went from there.
