CHRESANTO POV
"My love, there's only you in my life. The only thing that's right, ohh." I sang to Gabriella. She laughed. "Sing the next part. I know you know this song too." I said grabbing her waist gently. "My first love, you're every breath that I take. You're every step I make." she sang back. I kissed her cheek. "Together." I said. "And I, I want to share all my love with you. No one else will do. Mhm. And your eyes, they tell me how much you care! Oh yes. You will always be, my endless love." with both sang. I chuckled. "Your voice is beautiful." I whispered in her ear. "I thought I couldn't sing." she said looking up at me. "I lied. You just can't rap." I said letting go of her. "Where are the kids?" she asked laughing a little. "They're all in Christina's room. I didn't know we were going to be babysitting all of them though." I said. "Me either..." she said grabbing my hand and dragging me to her room. "Christina, Chris, Rosa, Trey, Crystal, Jazmine, Crystal, Rachel and Alicia!" I yelled. They all turned their heads and looked at me. "Wow. I didn't realize how much the boys were out numbered." Ella said quietly but still looking at them. I nodded my head. "There is a movie on for you guys in the family room. There's also popcorn and other snacks so go on, and watch the movie!" I said smiling. They all got up smiling and went into the room screaming. Jazmine; daughter of Craig and Davanna, Rosa; daughter of Ruby and Jacob, Rachel; daughter of Ray and Monse, and Alicia; daughter of Alana. I don't remember how or why, but they all ended up staying over my house today. Alana went out somewhere while me and Gabriella had to waste a useful Saturday watching children. Not that I don't like it, because I have kids myself, but not 9 of them! Oh well though. I better get paid for this. I sighed in relief walking back downstairs with Gabriella. "When is, what's her name getting back? I know she don't have to work since she's a midnight bartender..." she asked. I rolled my eyes. "You know, I don't understand you right now. First, you're all okay with her when y'all met but now it's like she's a threat to you or something." I said looking at her. She smirked. "She's not a threat to me. And I don't know. Something's just changed and I'm having second thoughts about her. Like, she seems fake." I wrinkled up my face. "Fake? You've only known her for like a month in a half." I said sitting down on the couch. "So! You're a guy and I'm a woman. Women tend to easily catch on and realize things in a short period of time. Same thing goes for younger ladies too." she said sitting down next to me. "Guys can too, you know." I said. She shook her head. "Not like women. It takes a while for guys to understand. And, if she was attracted to you, y'all would always be laughing and whatever while I'd be feeling like the third wheel." she said. My eyes widened. "Third wheel?! Gabriella, you will always have the first place in my life. Along with the kids. And she's not attracted to me, thank you." I crossed my arms. "As far as you know." she said. My eyes widened again. "Are you jealous or something?!" I asked laughing at her. She looked at me seriously and I instantly stopped laughing. "No, Chres." she said. "Sure. But why even bother? You're my wife. She's just a friend." I said. "Well okay. It's only a matter of time 'til she gets closer to you and closer to you. And then out of nowhere you'll realize it and I'll be the one to say I told you so..." she said getting up and backing in to the kitchen. I also stood up and followed her. "Actually, I'll be the one to say I told you so. Because she doesn't like me like that." Gabriella laughed while opening the fridge. "That's how it always starts off. Friends, then the friend touchy thing comes around when the guy can't seem to keep his hands off the girl, then they start habing feelings for each other, and lastly, the benifits. You must not know me well, baby." she said. "No, thats not the case. It's just I havent worried about no other girl but you in the last 13 years." I said. She smirked. "Like I said before, it's only a matter of time." I rolled my eyes. "I can't believe you would even think that. Just shut the fuck up, Gabriella." I said walking towards the door when I heard the doorbell ring. She chuckled and walked to the living room. I opened the door and there stood Alana. "Thought you said you would be back 'til 6..." I said in confusion. She nodded her head walking inside. "I know. But I just met someone and wanted you guys to meet him." she said smiling. Then, the unexpected happened.
GABRIELLA POV
I smirked at Alana. I'm sure it's just some random guy who she met on the streets. Probably has kids and even a wife! I watched as Chresanto's jaw tensed up and in walked Grant. My heart started pounding and I stood up. "Gabriella and Chresanto, meet Grant!" she said smiling. He had this evil smirk on his face. "Chresanto..." I said watching him pace for like 2 seconds. "Were you in on this?" he asked me. My mouth dropped. "What do you mean?" I asked softly. "Did you help Alana get this guy?!" he asked walking up to me. "Why would I do that?" I asked him. "Wait a seconds ...you guys already know each other?" Alana asked. I rolled my eyes. "I don't know. Last time I checked, you were trying to convince me he changed." he said. I backed up a little. "And last time I checked, that was a few weeks ago!" I said hitting my back against the wall. He was scaring me. "Either way, Gabriella. I never forgave you for that slip up." he said. "Slip up?! Forgave me?! If anything, I should be the one to be forgiven instantly." I yelled. He smirked. "What are you talking about?" "You know exactly what I'm talking about! I love how you're always mad at me for the stupidest reasons in the world, but when I do something wrong, it's beyond horrible." I said. "You know that isn't true." he said. I chuckled. "Is it really? You repeatedly messed up and kept saying it was a mistake. Then you turn back around and try to kiss up to me, Chresanto. But all those times it wasn't a mistake. It was a choice. You chose to do all those things. You're grown and should've already known they were going to hit you in the long run." His facial expressions changed and he was giving me a blank look. But it's like he didn't want to lose this battle. Especially since we were in front of both, Alana and Grant. "Yeah, you're right. I am grown so stop talking to me like that!" he yelled at me. "I can talk to you how ever I want too! You don't control me." I said. "Why are you trying to make a scene in front of them?" he asked. I shook my head. "If anyone is, it's you! I'm fucking tired of you, Chresanto!" I yelled. "All I did was ask you a simple question and you made a big deal out of it!" he yelled. "Yeah. A simple question you already knew the answer to." with that being said, I walked past him and upstairs. I looked around the corner to all the kids standing at the top the stairs peaking out. "Excuse my French." I said looking at them and then walking into my room. I took a deep breath shutting the door, and walking out on to the balcony. I leaned over the railing and let the wind blow my hair every which way. I had so much on my mind. One minute we're singing love songs to each other, and the next minute I can't stand him. I felt my eyes watering but no tears would fall. I guess I really did waste the thousands of tears I cried. I'm tired of feeling this way. Too much drama for me, too much to think about. I turned around quickly to the sound of someone walking in. "I didn't know you know, Alana." Grant said. "Where's Chresanto?" I asked. "Alana went to try and cool him down." he said walking further towards me. "You shouldn't be in here. Haven't you caused enough?" I asked. He gasped. "What just happened downstairs wasn't because of me." he said. "Yeah, but it was about you. I wish we never met." I said turning back around and falling into my emotional trance again. "You mean, the day he was the reason you 2 broke up? Interesting." he said leaning over the railing also. "That was the past, Grant. Can't we move on from that?" He shook his head. "I will when you will." I looked at him. "You just don't get it do you? You don't know me as well as you think you do. You don't know my past. You don't know nothing, and for you to put your hands on me like that broke me. You've got some nerve to be standing in my house right now. Rapist." I said looking away. He didn't say anything. Instead he just sighed. "I see. Just know that, the man who just went off on you down there is probably the reason you can't let go now. Probably the reason you stay crying over and over again, repeatedly. Probably even the reason drama sticks around and never goes away." He said walking away. I thought about what he said for a moment. "Well you're one of the reasons too!" I yelled hoping he'd hear me. I sighed and slid my back down the rails putting my head in my knees. "Why?" I asked looking up. Seconds later, Chresanto walked in the room. I rolled my eyes turning my head to look at the other houses down the street. "What was he doing in here?" he asked me. I shrugged my shoulders. He smacked his teeth. "I can't stand it when you be doing this, Gabriella!" he yelled at me. I shook my head. "I'm sorry." he said sitting beside me. I looked at him wrinkling up my face. "Really? You just embarrassed me in front of them and now you're trying to apologize. Not only that, but you accused me of something I didn't do and you know that." he looked down. "Can't argue with that. But you know I don't like that guy. Seeing him walk in pissed me off." he said. I rolled my eyes. "That doesn't make a difference." I said. "But what about you though? You accused me of things I--GCO." "Did do?" I said finishing his sentence. He didn't say anything. "I don't have time for this right now." I said getting up and walking away leaving him there.
