Jake's POV:

I turn around when I feel someone bump into me. I'm faced to faced with the girl I bumped into 3 weeks ago.
Lily

Without thinking, I scowl and I see her eyes widen. She starts backing away and I reach out to hold her shoulders.

"Why in such a hurry," I ask.

I see her swallowed and I frown. Was she nervous?? She looks at me, and I can see that she's in a hurry.

"No smart remarks this time sugar," I say trying to make her annoyed.

Her eyes suddenly look at me with hatred and I smile. That's the girl i met 3 weeks ago. She glares at me and shrugs my hands off her. I raise my eyebrows and stare at her. She was amazingly beautiful and ever time I saw her, I had a feeling that I met her before. Ever since that night, when I dropped her at her house, I've been thinking about her nonstop. What was wrong with me. I couldn't even focus on my paperwork these past 3 weeks.

She clears her throat and I look up.

"Don't call me sugar you asshole,"

" so I'm an asshole now. Shouldn't you be apologizing to me again. Since you were the one who bumped into me Again."

She starts to protest, but I interrupt her.

"You really need to work on your attitude there sugar. No one is gonna like you if all you do is insult people."

She scowls and I wink at her. It was entertaining how she reacted to my insults.

"I only insult people who are being a jerk. And for your information, I'm a very likable person,"

"Oh really. The last 2 times I've met you, the only thing you have done was insult me"

"That's because you were being a dick." She shot back.

I chuckle as she says this.
She rolls her eyes at me and starts to leave.

"Bye sugar," I yell and she flicks her middle finger at me as she walks away.
Fiery and tough. This was some interesting girl. I watch her as she walks to the counter and starts talking to the girl at the cashier. She points at a sign on the door and I cock my head to see the sign.
-part time job available-
So she wanted a part time job. Here's a opportunity to spend more time with her and learn more about her.

I shake my head at this dumb idea. Why was I turning into this because of some girl. A girl that I hardly know. I had a company to run and I wanted to get a part time job at a book store. How absurd. "Get a grip Jack, you're turning into those stuck up rich kids."

I laugh at myself. Only an insane person would have a conversation inside their head. "Oh well, I need a vacation from the company anyway. Might as well try to get this part time job."

I walk up to the counter and Lily looks up. When she realized it was me, she moves an inch away from me. So she was ignoring me now. The girl at the counter stares at me in awe and I smile at her. Girls usually stared when they saw me and I was used to it by now. I clear my throat and she breaks from her trance.

"How may I help you Sir," she stutters.

"I would like to apply for the part time job,"

I could hear Lily gasp next to me and I smile wider. This was going to be fun.
