Joey's POV

I drive hurriedly around the city, running red lights and turning corners much too fast. The pain I feel isn't even comparable to the pain I know Daniel is feeling, but it's absolutely terrible. How could that scumbag do such a thing? I knew he was a fucking dick, but this was just a whole new level. I'm not sure exactly where I'm going. Hell, I don't even know where to find him, but I'm fucking determined.

The rain has began coming down harder than is was before, the roads slippery and the potholes filled to the brim with rain water. The city looks gloomy; not one person smiling as they walk down the streets. Rain seems to have that effect on most people, including me.

I hear the sound of my phone ringing, causing me to look down immediately. Daniel's name flashes across the screen as I grab ahold of it immediately, answering his call.

"Hello?" I say, confusion lacing my voice.

"Joey I–" he begins saying, but I'm soon caught off guard.

The events that next took place seemed to go in slow motion. I heard a loud honking noise, turning to my left to see a semi-truck inching quickly towards me. I was frozen, paralyzed in fear. And next thing I knew

Everything was black.

(a/n: I'm so fucking done at this point. Just fucking shoot me.😊🔫)
