It was cold night, the wind was strong enough to break a few weak branches, you enjoy all of this, just sitting in your bedroom inside your blankets, watching the wind blowing through trees, and most importantly the silent of your home because you were home alone, your older brother went off to work to earn money, to support you and him of course. You really want to have your mystery best friend come over but he won't answer your texts or calls, which is really making you kinda lonely, sad, and piss off. You felt your phone vibrate a bit, so you check and it was your friend, he said that he coming over in few minutes. You start to get up and take a shower, you let the warm water hit your bare body, you close your eyes and listen to the music the water makes, you love it. You started to sing, In Case by Demi Lovato.

Pictures in my pocket,
Are faded from the washer
I can barely just make out your face....

Food you saved for later,
In my refrigerator
Its been too long since later never came

Turning off the water, you came out the of the shower, then changed. You open the door out, when you enter into your room, you found him. He looked at you with his so called beautiful smile, he sat on your bed, he got up and walk towards you, and wrap his arms your waist and hugged you, you hugged back tightly.

"Hi buddy, sorry if I didn't reply to your text, I was busy with helping Toby to get his head out of the door. Long story." He whisper into your eyes, still hugging you.

"It's okay, at least you came and say sorry, so..." You said pulling and looked at him. "What do you want to do?" You asked him.

"Well I was thinking we can go to karaoke with Ben. How does that sound?" He asks you.

"Eh? With the elf? Uhhhh...."

"If you don't want him to come then, let's don't bring him, he makes a mess when he's eating anyways." He laughs, you laughed too.

"Well I was thinking we could just watch movies in living room on Netflix, you know? A normal thing to do." You suggested to him and he nodded his head. So, he prepared the TV for you guys, since he can't open the door for the pizza guy, you came in the living room to see him already on the couch waiting for you with the pizza, Jeff can press play for the movie he found already. In the middle of movie you decided to take a picture with him, you printed out the picture when the movie was done, you put the printed picture in under your pillow.

It was time for him to go, before your brother comes home from work. You didn't want the killer to go just yet, the both of you were just laying down on your bed, hearing the rain together but also looking into each other eyes, too bad you were the only one able to blink between you guys. Your best friend sat up and so as you did too, you hugged him from behind.

"Do you have to go?" You asked not wanting your best friend to go yet, he looked back at you.

"I'm sorry but I really need to go, but I promise, I'll come back for you, like always. You have the picture of us right? Looked at that when I'm not here and when you miss me, just in case."

"Okay but just in case you miss me too, because I know you do, have a picture of me okay." You give him a picture of you in leaning on tree smiling, Jeff chuckled a little then put the picture in his pocket and kiss your forehead. He opened the windows, he put on his hood on his head, and before he jumped out.

"I love your singing by the way, you should sing to me when I come back." Before you could say anything he already jump leaving you blushing in embarrassment, you closed your windows and lay down. You think about him....wait...'Do I like him like that' ,you thought to yourself. Shaking off the thought, and start going to sleep, but still had him in your thoughts.
