I see Hiroki sitting on a floral towel in the sand waving at me. I run over and give him the biggest hug I could ever give someone. After that, I sat next to him and we stared at the vicious waves in the water.
I look over Hiroki's shoulder and see Hideki. I want to tell Hiroki but I dont want to cause a scene. Before I can even open my mouth, Hideki runs over and taps on Hiroki's shoulder.
Hiroki's happy-go-lucky attitude quickly changes.
"*gasp of anger* WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Hiroki yells, grabbing ahold of Hideki.
"Listen, I just wanna talk!" Hideki cries of fear.
There is a long pause..
"Talk to your brother, Hiroki.. You have to at some point.. Its been days since he told you, its time to let him talk for once.." I say, softly.
Hiroki goes from the verge of becoming his demon form, to a more calm and at ease state of mind.
"Fine..." Hiroki shrugs.
Hiroki's POV:
We walk a few feet away from Katsuko so she cannot hear us speaking. Im irked at my brother Hideki and am close to going into a blinding rage and killing him. Krakens are not wanted, nor accepted, in my family.
(Krakens are people who turn into giant squids when angered or scared, most of the time cannot control themselves in their squid-form and end up taking the lives of the innocent, although they have other powers too like controlling water and super speed.)
"Hiroki.. Im-Im sorry im this way, but I was desperate to get a power so Id FINALLY fit in with you.. like sure we are brothers and friends, but we never could understand eachother on the level we can now." Hideki preached.
"*sigh* I know Hideki, its just hard to accept you. I mean.. how many people have you killed?" I ask, fearful for an answer.
"None. I never plan to, either." Hideki admits.
"....really?" I ask.
"Really. I just want to be close again.. I miss you, yanno. I also missed Katsuko, sure I just met her but shes very nice, are you guys a thing?" Hideki chuckled.
"Heh.. we are... actually we are on a date right now.." I chuckle.
"Oh. Uh... carry on.. I'll meet you in the parking lot when you two are done we can go to your house or whatever.." Hideki said, shyly.
"Sure." I said, before walking back to Katsuko.
