Katsuko's POV:
The next morning my Dad knocks at Hiroki's door, as him and I are drinking coffee.
Hiroki answers it, as soon as he does my dad storms in.
"OH! There you are!" He says in relief.
"Y-yeah..Im sorry I shouldve told you I was leaving. It was just urgent." I explain.
"I assure you we are okay." Hiroki says.
"Good. So.. Any plans?" My Dad asks.
"Actually. We were just getting to that, please, sit down." Hiroki invites.
"Alright." My Dad says.
"..Well Zexr cures right? How about we pour Zexr into the bay?" Hiroki suggests.
"We cant. We dont possibly have enough." I point out.
"We could make more?" My dad adds in.
"..That is true." I say.
"Then lets do it? I mean krakens absorb water. If the water is mixed in with Zexr they absorb that too!" Hiroki figures.
"I think we should raise awareness as well. So people stay out of the waters for time being." I say.
"Good idea. Go to townhall and announce it, now. Okay?" My dad asks.
"Alright!" I say leaving the house.
I approach town hall and yell.
"ATTENTION!"
A whole crowd of people look over in curiousity.
"THERE IS A SLEW OF CREATURES LIVING IN OUR WATERS! IM SURE YOU ALL KNOW THEYRE KRAKENS!" I yell.
The crowd nods in agreement.
"NO ONE HAS HAD ANY GUTS TO STOP THEM, RIGHT?" I ask.
"Right.." They say.
"I BELIEVE WE CAN!" I yell.
"How?!" They ask.
"ZEXR! IT CURES THIS DISEASE!" I say, holding up a bottle of it.
"JUST STAY OUT OF THE WATERS! UNLESS YOU WANT TO BECOME AN EVIL BEAS--" I try to say then a police officer pulls me aside.
"What are you doing?!" He whispers.
"I was telling the crowd about the krakens.." I explain kind of shook up.
"You cant just tell citizens to do something like this! Riots will break out and the power will go to their head. We are trying the best we can to stop these things." He says.
"I dont care! I want to stop these things now!" I yell.
"...Fine! But if these people end up being power hungry, thats on you." He says before storming off.
I walk back to the front and say,
"We can do this, we are bound to. Only by wiping them out will end this hardship in Nao! So stay out of the waters, and raise awareness!"
The crowd cheers.
For once I dont feel powerless. Ive stood up for myself and taken leadership.
