1 Week Later:

I sat up in "my room" and looked out the window. Lee is in the city looking around, Saruko is sleeping still, and Hiroki is doing yardwork to show my aunt his gratitude, my mom and dad are down chit chatting with Aunt Kiroshiko.

This week has been so...well...how could I put this...? ALL OVER THE PLACE. Everyone has been busy or in need of help, it was kind of disorganized. Oh who am I kidding? It was super disorganized, it was a disaster!

I hope we go back to Nao, or atleast whats left of it. From what the news says, it seems like its operating on a shoe string. Its on its last foot and will probably fall soon.

I walk down stairs and everyone just came "home".

"H-Hey guys..Any news on Nao?" I stutter.

My mom stands up , sighs, then says.

"Unfortunately....yes." She looks down and says softly.

"What? What happened?" Hiroki says, looking concerned.

"Well, the ZexEN has come and gone, now they think you guys are dead. So theyve destroyed most of the city." My mom continues.

"How do you know?" Saruko asks.

"Ara called Katsuko's phone. I answered and she told me..." My mom admits.

We all look at the ground.

"We need to go back..." I murmur.

"You're right. Nao needs its Governor, oh and you two of course." Lee jokes.

"Lets go then.." My dad says.

We all agree and say our goodbyes to my Aunt and leave.

The car ride was stressful as ever, we all were literally on the edge of our seats, unsure of what the city looks like. It could look indentical to how we left it, or it could be ash.

I am so tired, I tried to sleep but couldnt because the anxiety is like a weight on my chest that cant be lifted, not even by the strongest person in the world. The guilt of leaving the city to burn and die is also swirling in my head and churning in my stomach. I tried my hardest not to cry a river, but its super hard when all you want to do is crawl into a corner and die.

I held hands with Hiroki and he tried to comfort me, but I cant be comfortable no matter what.

After a few hours, we pull up by the port to Nao. We get to Nao and see some houses burnt down and people terrified in alley ways, cowering in corners.

It was terrible to see once a strong city, now falling apart.

So much has changed in the matter of 7 days..
