HIROKI'S POV
Katsuko and I walk back to my house. I was depressed about killing my brother just now, but it was really for the best. So she comforted me all the way home, holding my hand. When we finally arrived, I said to her,
"We have to find a plan to kill the Kraken."
"Hiroki," She said carringly, "just rest for now. I know you're really sad, want to lay down?"
I thought about this, then said
"We can't rest now. Kraken never rest. Katsuko I know you care but this is something we need to do now. I just wish I could tell my parents about all of this stuff, so they could help. My dad could help a lot..hes pretty strong!"
I saw her face change to look as if she was understanding. She moved towards the table and sat down. I got pencil and paper for us to start thinking about this whole plan. As we were brainstorming together, I looked over at her, seeing she was hurt, I asked her what was wrong.
She looks at me, trying to smile and says,
"I'm fine, don't worry about it."
"Are you sure? Do you miss your house?" I ask.
"That's what I'm upset about. My life at home. I miss my Dad..." She said looking down, twiddling her thumbs.
"He---He passed, he was out at sea on our boat and...he never came back..We think he drowned. This was way back in the day, before Krakens were around. So, we know he wasnt a Kraken.." Katsuko begins to sob.
I don't even know what to say or think. I immediately start crying and hug her. I pull her up to my bed and hold her all day until it is night. Then we finally start brainstorming about a plan.
