Katsuko POV:
I woke up the same time Hiroki did. We got a call from Hideki, he told us to meet him at the beach for frozen yogurt. Hiroki and I leaped out of bed and got ready.
"Hey its the first day of summer!" I pointed out.
"You're right... we can finally swim.." Hiroki realizes.
"Yeah!" I joyfully say.
"..." Hiroki stays silent.
"Whats the matter?" I ask.
"Its nothing... I just feel upset for some reason.." He tells.
"I did too last night." I add.
"Weird... lets just go..." He says.
We walk to the beach and see Hideki. The look on his face makes me feel uneasy.
"Heh.." He laughed.
"Uh.....Hi?" I say, kind of concerned.
"Hideki... you okay?" Hiroki asks.
Just then.. Hideki became his kraken form and tried crushing Hiroki with one of his tentacles.
"HIDEKI!! STOP!" I growl.
"NO. I WILL KILL HIM....AND YOU." He hisses.
I go into wolf form and attack him. I dont seem like im doing much harm.
Hiroki begins to tear up and become a demon. He takes a magma katana out and slices at him.
"Im warning you, Hideki. ENOUGH." He roars.
He laughs and crushes Hiroki to the floor.
"I SHOULDVE KNOWN ABOUT YOU." Hiroki yells and ends Hideki's life.
Hideki falls to the floor and slowly dies.
Hiroki stares at his brother, Tears well up in his eyes as he glares at his once thoughtful, kind brother.
I walk up to him, still in wolf form, and sit next to him and lick his face. I can tell hes upset. I eventually come out of wolf form and kiss his cheek.
"I-Im sorry Hiroki." I cry.
"........I....I dont know what to say or do.." He says.
"It'll be okay.." I promise.
"No... I cant trust anymore people.. you're the only person I can trust.." He says.
I feel honored yet upset that Hiroki's trust has plumitted.
"I hate him.." He says.
Just then a huge amount of krakens came out of the water.
"Oh. Thats why he never told us to come out." One of the krakens chuckled.
"Hey. Its not funny he was betrayed." I cry out.
"Heh.. It kind of is. I mean you were stupid enough to believe this hunk of dirt's lies." One laughs.
"GO AWAY." Hiroki roars, still in demon form.
"Hmmph... Not till this city is ash." One says.
I turn into wolf form.
I snarl so loud it shakes the ground.
The group of krakens run for their lives.
I turn into human form.
"NEVER COME BACK!" I yell, loudly.
"Never trust anyone.." Hiroki says under his breath.
