Hiroki's POV:

My bestfriend...stripped of his power. How could this be? The doctors didnt do it...It had to of happened when the dreaded Kraken attacked him..

"Saruko is going to need to stay in the infirmary for a few days. You may visit whenever you wish." The nurse informs us.

"Thank you." I say as Hiroki and I leave the room.

We leave the Hospital in silence, a good portion of Saruko is...gone, possibly for good..

Tears well up in my eyes..

"Hiroki? It will be okay, Hiroki!" Katsuko insists.

I wipe away a few tears..

"No it wont be, Katsuko.. You're optimistic, but...it's impossible to be right now.." I sniffle.

She hugs me extremely tight and kisses me.

"Hiroki... Im here for you.." She whispers.

I smile, I really like Katsuko, she is always there for me.

The Next Day:

"C'mon..want to get some coffee? You know..to get our minds off this madness?" She asks.

"Yeah.." I smile through the pain.

We walk inside and hold eachother's hand.

After getting our drinks, we sit down.

"How could this happen?" I ask.

Katsuko looks down and says,

"I dont know, Hiroki, if I did I would tell you.. but hey, look on the bright side, Saruko wont die due to ZexEN." Katsuko says.

"I guess not, but we will so it doesnt make a difference, now will it?" I shrug.

"Unless we..get the ZexEN back.." She suggests.

I perk my head up and say,

"Wait..you think we could?" I ask.

"Maybe? I mean.. I care about Nao, but it seems if we let him do this, itll be at more risk.." Katsuko says.

"Then lets do it!" I joyfully say.

Katsuko smiles and grabs her bag and we rush out of the cafe to go start planning.

We walk to the fallout shelter to spy on The Forces and Hideki, assuming theyre there.

"Tomorrow morning we need to go pick up Saruko. I just got a message from the doctor this morning." I say.

"Sounds good." Katsuko smiles.
