Katsuko's POV:
We begin to walk home and talk about what we need to do next..
"So..this is a bit off topic, but...what even are you, Saruko?" I ask.
"Me? I'm a Mind Bender." He says.
"And that is..?" I ask.
"I can use telekinesis to move things with my mind, I can read minds, tell the future, control minds, and other things similar to those." He explains.
I nod.
"Listen Katsuko, I didnt mean to alter your life in...anyway. I actually wanted to help you.. Im sorry...please forgive me." Saruko pleads.
"I dont know..." I say, kind of still upset.
"Well..youre going to have to." Saruko says.
"I dont have to do anything!" I snap at him.
"Sheesh..I didnt mean it like that, I am just kind of a smart-aloc." He admits.
We get inside Hiroki's house.
"Yeah..I can clearly tell.." I glare.
"Katsuko, he didnt mean any harm." Hiroki butts in.
"Easy for you to say, the world doesnt know about you." I stand up and shout at Hiroki.
"Technically, only the governor knows.." Saruko says.
"IT WONT BE LONG BEFORE THE WORLD DOES, SMART ONE!" I yell.
Hiroki sighs and looks at the ground in shame.
"Im sorry!" Saruko yelled.
"Sorry isnt good enough! All my friends..my family, everyone! They all know. Youve doomed the wolf." I yell back.
"Maybe its just best...if...if I go.." I say, as a single tear drips from my eye.
I walk and put my hand around the front door knob.
I turn around and give one last look at Hiroki and walk out..
Hiroki's POV:
"Good going, Saruko!" I yell, as I am in a blinding rage.
"Im sorry! I will go get her!" Saruko cries.
"No. Shes upset now, plus youve done enough damage for one day." I admit.
Katsuko's POV:
I walk down the block and notice a girl.
"Hm. Its that one weirdo." She laughs.
"Pardon?" I ask.
"You're that freak on the news, Katsuko? I dont know..Im Ara." (pronounced: arr-uh)She smirks and positions her hand for a hand shake.
I awkwardly shake her hand and say,
"Im...Katsuko...yes.."
"Hah!" She says, pushing me to the pavement.
"Im not afraid of you, if thats your goal. Because of you my city is basically ruined!" She yells in my face.
"What?!....Wait wait, you believe the governor when he said I am related to Krakens?" I ask.
"Thats correct. My, my, you catch on fast." She chuckles, then walks off.
Im so confused. ERGH! I wish Saruko wouldve never even met me!
???'s POV:
"So we are going to capture Katsuko, Hiroki, and Saruko? So we can examine them and how they got their powers?" I ask.
"Precisely." One of the Scientists confirms.
"Ok...then I will contact each of their parents and...I will tell them I am a team leader of their dumb resistance against Krakens there to pick them up for some sort of camp.." I ramble.
"Sure, sir." He agrees, reluctantly.
"Then its settled. Tonight, I will ask the forces to obtain the creatures for examination!" I say, before walking off.
