Katsuko POV:
That night, when I got home
Hiroki seemed uneasy when I mentioned my father..
"I am in awe right now." I said, taking off my coat.
"W-Why?" He asked, taking off his shoes.
"WHY?! Because, my dad is alive!" I laugh.
"Oh..." He shrugs.
"Whats the matter?" I ask.
"Well... its just weird.. I mean.. my brother, who I thought was dead, came from the ocean and look what happened.." He sighed.
"Okay.. My dad is NOT a kraken." I chuckle.
"I didnt say he was... Im just superstitious.." He explained.
"Right..." I say under my breath.
"Just be careful......for me.." Hiroki pleads.
"Of course I will.." I say kissing him.
I smile up at him, I can tell he cares a lot about me. Its just he babies me a lot. I can overlook that though, I know hes just trying to protect me.
"Oh! Speaking of; I am seeing my dad in a few days to catch up with him." I explain.
There was a long pause.
"Well, if you trust him, I guess I do too.." Hiroki says.
"I'll be fine, trust me." I chuckle.
"A-Alright." He agrees.
I dont understand Hiroki, I know my dad, he would never voluntarily want to have powers. In fact, he doesnt even know I have powers.. He said He doesnt believe in all that stuff.. So I know he isnt a kraken.
"We should check our post on the deep web, yanno, to see if we have anyone willing to help.." Hiroki suggests.
"Good idea." I say, turning on the computer.
We have no one who even seen the post.. Why is that?
"WHAT? NO ONE HAS SEEN OUR POST?!" Hiroki asks, losing hope.
"Its okay.. we can--" I begin to say.
"NO NO! WE CANT DO THIS ALONE!" He says.
"Well we can try finding peopl--" I try to say.
"NO!" He yells.
"CALM DOWN!" I growl.
"...sorry.." He says, softly.
"Its okay..look..we can try to find supernaturals in real life. I have a very keen sense of smell, and if I get a strong wiff of someone I can tell if theyre human or not." I explain.
"Hm.. I guess we can try that..." He sighs.
Hiroki's POV:
I feel so nervous and scared..I KNOW Katsuko's dad isnt normal. His glare... it is not human, its..abnormal..I want to tell her, but cant.
