~~Hey if anyone has a Daviantart here mine, http://this-is-dupree.deviantart.com/ I sell shit

Oh and yes, this is really short and you probably wont be able to understand most of it. It's not in Emerson's POV so yeah. I was going to wait until I got the next chapter made before I posted this so you could understand more but I don't know when it could be done. It could be done later today or a couple of days, who knows. Anyways, here it is!!~~~

Chapter 41

Screams : Pain :: Laughter : Joy

Back and forth.

Back and Forth.

Long legs, tall legs

They moved

They moved in between the walls

The walls

The short walls

The small walls

They same closer

His eyes came closer

So small

Such small eyes on such a large face

A scary face

A face that made her quiver and whimper

A face that reminded her

Reminded her of everything

Everything she had lost

Everything she had loved

And she would whisper

A soft whisper from a soft voice

That drifted inbetween the bars

The bars that kept her away from him

The bars that kept her from death

"Please,"

Whispers

Soft whispers

Soft eyes

Soft hair

Soft pleading words

That never penetrated

Those soft words were lost

Like sand trickling out between fingers

Wind blowing it away

The bars kept it away

He was too far

Her arms could not reach his fur

Her words could not reach his ears

Her pleas could not reach his mind

He was too far

And Kriss would never see him again

"Please!"

Words

Strong words

Shouted words

Strong shouted words

Words that rang through the bars

Her arms reached through the bars

She looked through the bars

And he turned

"Please,"

She said it again

Softer

"Please,

Just speak,

Just say one thing.

Please."

And his silence was loud

Louder than words could ever be

Cold eyes

Cold unseeing eyes looked at her

Looked through her

And he lunged

He leaped quickly

So quickly

She only had seconds to pull her arms back

His arms did not reach through

But that did not make him stop

He did not stop trying to grab her

And a growl tore from his throat

As a word pierced through the air

A word he spoke

"Hungry."
