Insecure

Dear Diary,

I am meeting Cody's family in a few hours. Its so weird, I've never been so nervous in my life. On second thought yes, I have. Wish me luck.

"Knock Knock" Cody says knocking on my door. "Hold it" I say and put on my shirt. "Are you done" Cody asks.

"I'm coming out" I say and grab my phone and walk out. "Nice room" Cody says pushing past me. "Sure. Come in" I say. "You're going to see my room." Cody says.

"What if I don't want to" I ask. "You'll want to" Cody says and I push him out my room. "Lets go" I say and close my door.

"We're here" Cody says and pulls into the driveway of an adorable house. "Its cute" I say and Cody laughs and gets out. I open the door and Cody helps me out.

"Thank you" I say. "My mom is all about being a gentleman" Cody says. "I will tell her you have" I say. "That's rude because I've been the perfect gentleman" Cody says and the front door swings open.

"My name is Kathy. Cody's mom it's so nice to meet you, Sarah" Kathy says and I smile as she hugs me. "Its nice to meet you too" I say. "Are you staying" Kathy asks. "I don't think so" I say.

"If you decide to, I'll be in the kitchen cooking" Kathy says and I nod. Cody grabs my hand and freeze for a second. "Welcome to my room" Cody says.

"This screams boy" I say. "I am a boy" Cody says. "Your dogs are so cute" I say. "Your mean. I'm a boy" Cody whines and I laugh while petting his dog. "So are you going to stay" Cody asks.
