"Where are you going again?" Cody asks laying across my bed. "To a party." I say. "Why? You don't usually." Cody says. "Chelsea asked, nicely and plus its her birthday." I say.

"And she wants to spend it getting drunk, with her only friend with an drivers license and her only shy friend, at a party, with people." Cody says. "And what's wrong with that? I can party more than most." I say. "No." he says.

"Would you like to come then?" I ask him. "No, I'll stay here but if you need me, you can call me." He says. "And what if I get so drunk that I lose my phone and can't call you." I ask. "I see what you're doing," He says. "And it's working." he continued.

---

I was not going to drink. I was not that girl. I was just going along to be with friend. At least that's what I told my mom. I just had one drink, Cody was very strict, he didn't have anything, not that I expected him to, he's not that guy. I am okay with that.

Him coming saved me from a really bad hangover. That was my first drink. It burned, probably natures way of telling me that I shouldn't do that, ever again. And I probably won't. Not anytime soon anyway.

"Did you have fun?" Ranch asks. "Yeah! Thank for inviting me." I say. "No problem at all" Chelsea says and I smile while Cody stills lays sleeping on my bed. "Is he going to sleep all day?" Ranch asks. "Probably. We were up all night." I say.

"Doing what?" Chelsea asks, smiling ear to ear. "Don't. We were not. We talked. That was it. He not that guy." I say. "Okay!" Chelsea says. "Can you please be quiet, I am trying to sleep." Cody mumbles.

"Ah, look, he's alive." Chelsea says. "Could you please get out." I say to Ranch and Ranch realizing that he was shirtless. It was not like that, so do not think it. "Good morning." he says. "More like afternoon. We didn't mean to wake you." I say.

"Its fine." he says and puts his arm around me. "My friends are here." I say. "I know eventually they'll leave." He says. "No we won't. " Chelsea says. "Get away from the door, nosy." I say. "Why are they here again?" he asks.

"Right, we are going to the Mcdonald's and then the park." I say. "Were you going to ask me to go?" he ask. "I was. Would you like to go?" I ask. "Yes!" he says and then gets up. "Finally," Ranch says.
