Dear Diary or self, or whatever,

It has been a very long time since I've even thought of you but as I cleaned my room and fixed up my bed you came into mind. I've read back at my life since starting a relationship with Cody and since writing in here. I can honestly with a clear heart and head say that I am happy and would personally like to stay that way. I never thought the day would come when I would say that I am in a very good place but I am and its good for me.

Anyways today is Labor day and Cody and I have not made any plans so Chels, Ranch and I are going to just stay in and cook, probably, most likely watch my mom cook, unless we go to Chelsea house, which we most likely will later.

Sarah-Jane

I put my diary back and hop in the shower. When I get out, I hear my phone ringing so I hurry to answer it. It was Cody requesting a video chat. I answer.

"Hey" I say. "Hey. What are you up to?" He asks. "Nothing at the moment, I just got out of the shower." I say. "Oh. That's why you look naked." He says. "I am naked." I say. "I would ask you something but I am in the car with Mikey." He says. "What exactly is it that you want to ask me?" I question raising my eyebrows.

"I'll tell you later." He says. I smirk and ask him, "Where are you guys going?" I ask. "We were going to his house but he convinced me to bring him to see where you live." He says. "Do you mean he wants to meet Chelsea?" I ask and he nods.

"I am sorry to just spring this on you. I know you guys probably already made plans." He says. "We did but its nothing extravagant." I say. "Um, we will be there in about 25-30 minutes." He says and I nod. "I'll be waiting." I say with a small bite of my lip. We hang up and I get dressed. I find Chelsea and Ranch laying on the floor in the living room.

I do what any good friend would, I go down there with them. "Funny story." I say. "Nobody cares that Cody is coming to see you." Ranch says. "How did you know?" I ask. "I didn't you just told us, now be quiet." He says and I listen. Damn snappy much.

About 10 minutes later, you could start to smell the glorious food my mom was making and the grill going by Lamar in the backyard. "Ms. Theresa, that food smells so good." Ranch says. "Thank you." My mom says. "Since you guys arent doing anything, can you run to the store, I am missing some stuff." My mom says and because Ranch is annoying he agrees to do so.

He stands up pausing the TV in the process. "What are you doing?" Chelsea and I question. "Leaving to help your mom out." He says and I roll my eyes. "I would like to let you know, you volunteered yourself not us." I say. "You're a bitch." He says. I smile and say, "I know."

I go to my room to grab my phone and then head to the front door. When i opened it, Cody was standing directly in front of it. I reacted normally as always and squealed then jumped up so he could catch me. "Can we start doing this more often?" He asks with a smile on his face.
