The baby gender

The next day was our latest scan, today we will found out the gender of our baby, it's a scary thought but with Alfie by my side I should be ok.

"Hey good morning!" Alfie says with a smile as I rolled over

"Today we find out if this ones a boy or a girl!" He continues as he places a hand on my bump.

"I think girl.." I say placing a hand ontop of his

"Well..that has to be a boy it's growing way to fast" sienna says as she walked into the room and opened the blind

"Haha, very funny mum" I say sarcastically climbing out of bed

"You two best get ready you have an hour until your appointment"  sienna continued as she threw a pair of jeans onto the bed

"Hey I promised you ones that would fit right?" She smiled leaving the room

"So Alfie boy or girl?" I ask him as I tried out my new pants.

"I think boy too" he says walking out in his uniform.

We both left for the scan at 8:45am so we'd only miss an hour of school when we got there and we're welcomed I jumped again as the scan was starting.

"Would you like to know the gender?" Dr Warrington asks as we listened to the thud thud of the baby's heartbeat. I held alfies hand.

"Yes please"

"Congratulations your having a baby girl"  she says smiling.

" a little girl!" I say kissing Alfie happily.

We stared at our little girl on the screen for a good 5 minuets before having to leave for school, hand in hand we arrived during break and went to find peri and tom to tell them the good news. I held my blazer across so you couldn't see my bump. Not wanting anyone to find out.

"Hey how'd it go!" Peri says running over to hug me.

"It's a girl!" I squeal excitedly

"Her and steph are gonna be best friends!" She replied jumping up and down.

"Slut" I heard someone say as they walked past.

"Slapped" one said tapping my shoulder.

"That baby's gonna be a freak like you" another says

I grabbed hold of peris hand as Alfie had gone with Tom.

"Ignore them" she says comforting me.

"Does it get better?"i Asked

"Yeah" she says unconvincing me

How's everyone found out? I mean am I showing did peri and tom tell did.... Jade tell? Oh no it's probably jade, if peri is keeping this from me! I had to ask when I got home from school. I pulled out my phone

P: errrr,.....
N; I can't believe you lied to me
P: I'm sorry nico!
N: bye

I felt heartbroken the fact my best-friend had known who was starting all this but still kept it from me! I ran home   As fast as my little legs could take me and in floods of tears I ran into my bedroom

"Nico sweetheart!" Sienna says running after me

"Peri she's lied to me and everyone at school knows and calling me names!" I cried

"Shhh, it's ok" she says hugging me.

"How the scan go." Trying to take me off the subject

"Well it's a girl" I say miserably.

"Shall we go shopping for this little girl? She can't sleep In a box now can she?" She asked as Alfie ran through the doors

"Nico! Are you ok" he says running over to hug me

"We're fine" I say placing a hand on my bump "we're gonna get some stuff for the baby's room wanna come?" I continued.

"Sure just let me get dressed" he says running into the bathroom

Tingggg my phone went as I pulled it out only to see a new message.

Jade: peri seems to be on my side, just a matter of time before Alfie comes running back to me

My eyes filled up as I started to panic, no way is she getting away with this...
