The baby shower

Skipping a few weeks to 36 weeks pregnant, leave feedback :)

Me and Alfie were taking many selfies on his phone goofing around before he said he was going out.

"Where you of too?" I ask sitting up

"No where special, just meeting Tom"

"Oh ok, when will you be back?"

"Soon" he kissed my check before heading out the door.

I got bored sat on my own, wondering what Alfie was doing, but then I get a message of mum.

Mum: hey sweetie fancy coming out for lunch? X

Me: sure be there soon x

I grabbed my coat and fastened the buttons over my now massive bump. Weirded to think in 4 weeks she'll be here. I walked to the hutch where I met mum, she was with Ben smiling and laughing.

"Nico!" She smiled

"So why we having lunch?" I asked looking through the menu

"Oh no reason just a treat I guess" Ben laughed

I ordered a carbonara and orange juice, i was starving don't judge.

We'd Finished up and heading back home, mum and Ben kept smiling and whispering, I didn't know why. I opened the door to hear..

"Surprise!" Alfie ran over and threw his arms around me and the house was decorated with pink yellow and purple balloons, they'd thrown me a baby shower.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you!" I looked around smiling and even cried a little.

"Me Peri and Tom set the whole thing up, with a little help from your mum" he winked

"Right now girls only!" Peri ran over

"Thank you.." I kissed Alfie before he and Tom left.

"What the best friend or in our case friends throw the baby shower!" Peri hugged me before we opened gifts and ate cake.

"Thank you again" I said to peri as she was and everyone left.

"No problem" she smiled before leaving.

I threw on my pjs and fluffy socks along with my slippers and dressing gown, why I do this I don't know it's the middle of summer!

I started to drift of to sleep and remembered the day it happened..

Flashback.

"What do you mean she's ill? Be there straight away" Tom huffed before turning to peri pulling his phone down from his ear.

"Stephs ill, being sick like we need to go. Sorry nico" we were having a party because we haven't done anything in a long time

"Sorry nico" peri left with Tom and I was left alone with jade and Alfie.

"So then there were three" I laughed making my way over and plonking myself in between them.

"Film?" Alfie says

"OMG! I forgot I have my hospital appointment! Sorry nico, Alfie don't worry you stay. It's not fair on nico" she grabbed her bag and kissed her boyfriends check and headed to out the door.

"Then there were two" me and Alfie say that at the exact same time

"Horror film" Alfie asks me

"Defo" we picked the scariest one out there and sat in pitch black.

Half way through the film I was hiding behind my pillow and hiding myself into Alfie's chest he was laughing how much it didn't scare him

"Boo!" Alfie scared the living day lights out of me and I run up and switch on the light.

"Chill it's only me" he was killing himself  laughing on the sofa"

"Oh you think it's funny!?" I run over and tackle him down. I stopped in the moment and kissed him I don't know what came across me.

"I'm sorry I-" Alfie cut me off with another kiss a longer one and more passionate.

"What about jade?"

"Forget about her"

The next thing I remember I was lying in bed with him, regretting what I'd done.

"Nico-nico" I heard

End of flashback*

"Nico?" Alfie woke me who'd returned home at half 8

"Oh I must of fallen asleep"

"How was it?" He sat beside me and pulled me into his chest.

"Amazing! Thank you so much, Emmy got so many gifts she's a very lucky girl!" I gestured my hand around my bump and smiled back at Alfie.

"Anything for my two favourite girls! She's lucky enough anyway of have you as a mum" he kissed my forehead and dressed into his pyjamas.

I couldn't feel happier that my little family was going to work out, who would of thought a horror movie and a scare could of gotten me a baby girl who will be loved? Life is crazy..
