"Killing me to pieces"

"Alfie come on.." I say shaking him out of the bed... No response

"Alfie come on!" I say again, "Alfie!?"  My heart was racing a million miles per hour.

Was he dead?

"What??" Alfie pulled the cover over his face, thank goodness

"Alfie you nearly gave me a heart attack!" I breathed a sigh of relief

"We have school?" Today's my first day back since I had Emmy, I'm terrified for many reasons

Being picked on for being a mum, being picked on for Alfie, and just for me...for being a total freak!

I was fully dressed, I'm only going back part Time so I can look after Emmy, Alfie on the other hand will be in full time even though he has cancer

"Alfie come on! We're gonna be late" I said gesturing my hands around getting angry

He made a noise and didn't move just rolled his eyes at me.

"ALFIE!" I yelled making Emmy cry

"Look what you've done" he said getting out of bed and seeing to his daughter. For goodness sakes why can't he get up for school!

"Well I wouldn't have if you'd of got up like I asked!" I yelled making the screaming baby worse

"You know what!-" I began

"Shut it Nico your upsetting her!"

That's it breaking point

"No your upsetting me! It's killing me to pieces everyday having to watch you fight this! I just want things to go back to normal for just one day!" I yelled at him

"Nico-" I cut him off "just don't Alfie"

I walked out the door slamming it shut behind me.

Did I just do that?  Part of me is happy I've just done that the other is regretting every last second.

But I decided to go to school, catch up with my friends

Guess who didn't go school! I'd rather watch my life flash before my eyes

I'd grabbed a bottle of vodka and drank until I could no longer see

"Nico?!" Alfie ran towards me

Alfie's pov:

I grabbed my drunk girlfriends arm as she stumbled on top of me

"Get of" she yanked her arm away from me.

I felt dizzy

No point trying to go after her

Nico's PoV:

I walked away until I heard a crash. I looked back to see Alfie collapsed on the floor

"Alfie!" I ran over throwing the bottle to one side

He wasn't breathing...
