Nico's PoV;

"So he's ok?" I asked Celine who'd been looking after Alfie over night

"Yeah he is fine just due to stress and tension his blood pressure was high and caused him to collapse" she answered my question

"So it's my fault?" I asked nervously

"No of-" Celine stopped when Alfie walked in ready to leave happy as a daisy not a care in the world

I've cause so much stress for him that I've caused him to spend another night in hospital, I'm no good for him, I'm no good for anyone

"Let's go.." I sighed as I held out my hand for him which he took

We'd made it halfway home until one of us finally began to open our mouths to speak, which came from Alfie of corse

"Yesterday, why were you drunk?" We'd stopped in the park and sat down on a bench

"I just was angry that's all drowning my sorrows was the best option I guess!" He didn't sound to convinced when I said that

"I'm sorry for what I said" he told me

"Same here"'I leaned into him and held him tight in a hug

"Hey mum" I say as we walked back into the flat she was cooking and Ben was taking care of my daughter probably getting practice for when mum pops one out

"Peri leela Tom and Steph are coming for dinner to tell them about the baby!" She says enthusiast as ever

"Oh ok.."

"Now go get dressed" she tells us both throwing washing in our faces

I'd thrown on the usual for me black jeans and a baggy jumper tying my hair up in a messy bun

To be fair I wasn't looking forward to everyone coming round we've just got back from the hospital after Alfie's health scare

"You look great!" Alfie says walking in with Emmy

"Thanks!" I say looking at my self in the mirror

"They're here you know? Waiting for you?" Alfie tells me pointing to the living room

"Already?!" I yell

The night went on dinner and laughs even when the odd cancer question came up that we'd try and avoid that's when mum tells about her news

"Well what is it?!" Leela says doing a small drum roll

"Well... I'm pregnant!" She squeals and runs over to hug her best friend

"Congratulations both of you!" They were jumping around the kitchen

Sometimes we have to forget about what's happening and look to the future and that's with Alfie and Emmy
