Sap's POV
"Can't we just break through the door instead of disabling the lock?" Butter looks up at us questioningly, whilst Zeki is hunching over the finger print lock, trying to disable it.
"We want to actually get around to the entering the CyberBank part not just breaking in to. It's all part of being a badass kid." Zeki cheerfully explains, with a screwdriver in his hand. He should not be excited about this, it's setting bad exaple to the children.
"Hurry up! We've been waiting too long to do this."Love impatiently urges as she spins around the long brightly lit corridor ready to dispatch the next oblivious person to walk around the corner.
I loosely hold Ruby, as so do Love and Butter too with their weapons prepared to use them at the shortest of notices. They have trained enough for the last two weeks to discover a weapon they are most comfortable with. Butter has improved his boomerang by adding spikes and a recognition system to it. However Love had gone for the traditional Numb Chuckles, her speed and skills were steadily improving, almost matching with Butter's.
"Right OK, it's open, go." Zeki partially turns around signally to us.
"Move Zeki."Dese motions
"I can't, I need to stay here." He sheepishly says.
"Why? It's the first you want to miss out on the action." Dese asks confused, noticing something is out of place.
" If I let go of the Fingerpad the system will go into lock down and sirens will go off , which will cause half of the building to come storming to us making us dead meat." Zeki cringes at the major fault in our plans. I hope we can pull this off. It is compulsory we can pull this off.
"How did you even hack into the CyberBank before." Dese exclaims sharply, shaking her head as we all realise what a massive risk we are taking breaking into the CyberBank for more information.
"Security has improved in the last seven years. Not my fault you can't disable the system now, guess they learnt from when I did it the first time. Now hurry up my fingers are cramping up." Zeki orders as he very awkwardly stands with his fingers pressed down on various buttons and wires at the back of the finger pad.
I roll my eyes and pat him on the back. I guess we need to be grateful he's got half the job done, we just have to find the records ourselves and the remains of the books in the room Zeki saw.
I step into the room, the DayLights momentarily blinds me, making my vision hazy. We crouch behind the metallic desk, peering around the room, encase there is anyone else in the room.
In the corner there are keys being pressed from a PhyscoTyper. There's someone here. I motion everyone to be quiet, signalling to Dese, to the smartly dressed woman sitting at the metal desk, a dwarf to the towering metal cabinets surrounding her.
Dese nods, receiving my signal, she edges towards the woman, who is engulfed by the CyberWorld, the PhyscoTyper obstructing her hearing. Dese slinks up behind her and swiftly knocks her out, I catch the woman before she makes a thud against the shockproof glass floor. I drag the elderly woman to a corner between two metal filling cabinets. Dese produces two strips of cloth, giving me one and keeping one for herself. She ties the woman's eyes, whilst I tie her wrinkled mouth.
How did I manage to place myself in this criminal act? Being persuaded by Dese and Zeki leads me to this situation. If we get caught there will be dire consequences. How do you even start to explain breaking and entering into a high security Domi Society Document bank? Zeki better be exceptional with improvisation, as he is the one dangling from finger pad outside the room. Deception and criminal activity is not my forte it is more Zeki's and Dese's.
