Yeah, I already mentioned this before, but I'm going to go into more detail about it.
First off, there's the good reader inserts which makes you feel like you are in the story.
And those are good at a moderate level. Until I see them practically everywhere around Wattpad.
Like seriously. What is the point of them? Often times, the character you're supposed to be is bland, a complete perfect human being with no flaws whatsoever and just overall insulting, especially if the story has potential.
And then the lemons.
I don't know what else to say. I have seen more Levi x Reader more than I have any other character inserts, and I have seen a lot. Believe me when I say, I haven't seen any reader inserts from Harry Potter or Fairy Tail fanfics. Well, I've seen a lot on Fairy Tail lemons but that's straying from the point that I'm making.
But the ones I hate the most, are the ones with a character that already is in a canon relationship. For example, "Percy Jackson x Reader." I hate those because HI HELLO HE'S DATING ANNABETH
I haven't read most of them, but come on! Same with the Hiccup x Reader ones. Guys, he and Astrid are pretty much canon. :/
