So I have been on Wattpad for a few years now. I'm on it almost everyday, it's like a drug to me. However, ever since I joined, I have seen the ups and downs of the fanfics and their specific fandoms/series, and Wattpad in general.
So what did I do...

Here's a weird way on how I started with this series: I read the manga first.
I mean, how crazy is it that out of all the series for me to start off with the manga, it had to be this one?
Anyway, yeah I heard about the series due to the anime release last year or so and with its second season finished and third season announced, I finally gave in and started reading BNHA out of total boredom.
And due to that boredom (plus lack of motivation to do anything else and a really good intriguing plot) I ended up catching up to the manga within two days.

Anyway, I feel like I shouldn't be creating a rant like this so early in the series (and for those of you saying that 100 chapters in is not early: you clearly haven't read Fairy Tail) but eh, timing is in the eye of the beholder.

Anyway-
Also completely unrelated, I ship everyone with everybody. Well, not everyone with everybody, I do have some minor issues with shipping Deku with Bakugou. But if you asked me whether I ship Todoroki with Deku or Momo Yaoyorozu, I would say both cause hey, they're all cool.
And speaking of which all of the other characters are really cool as well. The only one I don't really like is Mineta, who literally the worst pervy charcter I've ever seen. Okay I'm exaggerating cause I've seen worse but like HIROSHI WHY
But props to him tho, he's managed to create a huge cast of characters that are relatable, human and different from each other. Cause on of the traps I've seen anime fall into over the years over is that their characters look the same sometimes, and it's not even restricted to the women of the cast.
He's also managed to steer away from certain stereotypes as well, according to a Tumblr post and I totally agree. Momo could've been easily the fanservice of the cast but that role fell onto Toga, (who in my opinion is creepy but awesome as hell) and while I've just accepted that it's just part of most shonēn anime, it is kind of hilarious seeing it come from a completely unexpected character.
And the latest chapter officially killed me. DEKU ARE YOU SERIOUS YOU ARE GOING TO KILL YOURSELF ERI PLEASE DO ALL YOU CAN

Welp, that's pretty much it for this rant. I still haven't seen the anime but quite frankly I'm glad I started off with the manga first. Sayonara till the next one!
