Basically me trying to say that I am alive with this update XD
First:
SEASON 4 OF RACE TO THE EDGE COMES OUT THIS FRIDAY
One thing:
Dagur wtf are you doing here?
(For the record, I'm not spoiling S3 so in a sense, those who've seen the previous season knows what I mean by that XD)
I'M NOT READY ASDFKLLLJ A SFJLLFFSGK
Second:
Cheritz came out with a Valentine's Day update.
INCOHERENT SCREAMING
As you can see by the pic, they added Valentine's day after ends for all five routes. I'll expand on my reaction for the update sometime later in a separate rant but the general summary is this:
ZEN AND SEVEN'S AFTER ENDS HOLY FUCK
JUMIN'S WAS SUPRISINGLY FLUFFY (but dude the guy can be overkill sometimes like dude your wife does not need that many gifts lmao)
YOOSUNG HAS GROWN OH MY GOD HE'S SO SWEET
JAEHEE WAS SLAYING THAT LONG HAIR ASDGKLSDGK (p.s. her cafe looks adorable and Jumin is still bitter muwahahahahahaha)
Thrid:
Not really an update but I was randomly looking up reviews of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. Most reviews commented on the clever update of the characters and universe. Some reviews however.....
When people say that Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated is too scary for kids and/or a terrible show:
I'm sorry
Have you seen Courage the Cowardly Dog??
Have you seen Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, Get a Clue!
ONE LEGIT CREEPED THE HELL OUT OF ME AS A KID BUT I STILL FUCKING WATCHED IT, AND THE OTHER IS KNOWN TO BE ONE OF THE WORST INCARNATIONS TO DATE
But like are you fucking serious? We've had worse shows come out and the one show in 2010 that made its audience think is the one that gets shit on by overbearing parents for being a tiny bit frightening and darker than previous incarnations.
I mean yeah, Mystery Incorporated isn't perfect. While I love the update to Velma's personality (I mean, her sarcasm and sass are goals), making her clingy to Shaggy during the first half of the first season probably wasn't the best decision (hell, even I got a tiny bit annoyed lmao), and the beginning is bit of a slow burn, as it takes a few episodes to get to the bulk of the plot. In addition, the series finale, while good, did leave on a slightly unsatisfactory note. S1 has some of the best buildup the Scooby-Doo franchise has ever seen since Zombie Island, but S2 is.....idk, I don't want to say bad, because it was far from it. But something felt off at the near end of the series.
I don't know, personally I would blame Cartoon Network for fucking things up with the airing schedule and maybe the production process. (I know, it's childish, but sue me.) Maybe they pulled what they're pulling w/ Steven Universe right now T_T
....Either way, MI isn't perfect, but I doubt that the series is any more scarier than Courage the Cowardly Dog. Trust me when I say, that show had a lot more creepy imagery than most people let on. And besides, this is what the Scooby-Doo franchise needed: a fresh and slightly darker take on the mystery solving group. Because when you really think about it......didn't this series on the whole thrive on giving a good scare every once in a while?
Well, yeah went off on bit of a tangent there but you get my point lmao XD
Either way, hope you guys enjoy Valentine's day to the fullest, whether you're single or not! :) Sayonara until then!!
