Chapter 31: No matter what!

Lucy's PoV

When I woke up I saw the sun rising through the open windows and a cool breeze drifted through. I was still snuggled under me blankets when I felt something tug of my clothing around my waist. "Luce. Luce. Time to wake up. I got you some breakfast." I heard someone whisper in my ear and the scent of food flew into my noes. "Mmmmmh." I moan and turned over pulling the sheets higher over my face. "Luce. If you don't get up now I'll make you." The voice teased me. I just moaned again. "Alright you asked for it." The person who had been whispering in my ear picked me up and carried me bridal style. "Hey! Put me down!" I cry out as I drop the sheets and my underwear and spaghetti strap tank top is revealed. I blush looking up to find Natsu carrying me to the table in my room. "N-Natsu?" I ask as he sits me at the table. "I made breakfast. I said that didn't I?" He scratches his chin, remembering the conversation we had just had. Finally, being able to get a full view of him, I look at him, up and down. He's only wearing boxers and his ripped bare chest is completely visible. "N-Natsu! Put some clothes on!" I scream finding something to throw at from and do exactly that. "Oh come on Luce. You've seen me in swimming trucks before! How is this any different." He asks causally and sits on the opposite side of the table. "You're also in your panties." He mumbles and I blush at the thought. "That's because you didn't leave me to get dressed properly!" I scream angrily, trying to hide the vibrant blush on my cheeks. "Well I think you look better like this." He mutters but I decide ignore him. "Anyway. When did you learn to cook?" I look quizzically at the range on dishes on the table. Pancakes, bacon, eggs, toast and loads of other amazing things. "Mira taught me a few tricks." He smirks proudly. "Well, if the recipe is from Mira, I won't mind trying it." I smile and pick up a piece of bacon and throw it in my mouth. "This is AMAZING!" I shout and start choosing other things from the assortment.

When we finish I go to the shower first and get ready. Today we had to wear a special uniform because it was the GMGs. All of the uniforms were coloured corresponding with out magics. Ersa's was sliver, Jerral's was baby blue and white, Gray's clear-only on the top half- and dark blue, Natsu's was red and orange, Wendy's was turquoise and my own changed colour between the colours of the rainbow. Today I decided it should be orange and white because of the colours of the guild mark that is on the front of the guild. I wore that same style of clothes that I wore the first ever time I competed in the Grand Magic Games. Has it really been that long? I think as I finish getting dressed and Natsu walks out of the bathroom. "How did you get in my room anyway?" I ask as I grab my keys and my Fleuve d'étoiles. "The window." He points his thumb behind him. "But we're on the 5th floor!?" I ask shocked. "Actually that's not so hard to believe." I sweat drop and look out of the window. "Let's go!" Happy had some how also made it into my room and we all made our way down stairs. As we got down stairs I saw Cana and Luna sitting drinking. Well Luna was sitting and drinking, and, well Cana was passed out AGAIN! Ersa called us over their table. "Hey guys! What's up?" I wave smiling the team competing for the GMGs. "Hey Lucy-San, Nastu-San!" Wendy smiles innocently. "Where have you two been?!" Ersa asks showing an angry aura. "I was in Luce's room." Natsu smiles like its nothing and I face palm. "Well flamebrains, you're not as dense as I thought." Gray smirks. "Manly." Elfman mutters in disbelief. "You go Natsu!" Jerral hits Natsu on the back. "What are you..." Before Natsu could finish his sentence Ersa had hit him to the other side of the room. "PERV!" She screamed and I quickly added. "No Ersa it's not what you think! Natsu had made me breakfast! That's all! Nothing happened!" I accidentally screamed and the whole guild looked in my direction. Then I heard Mira scream then faint. "Hey! Why did you hit me?!" Natsu screams and throws a punch at Ersa, only for her to dodge it and for it land on Gray. "WHAT THE HELL! YAY PYRO!" Gray screamed furiously. "This is no time to fight you two. We will be late for the games."

Suddenly the ground started shaking and the room felt like it was raising. Of course the two dragon slayers with motion sickness of the guild quivered, finally realising their worst nightmares. "Hey look out the window!" One of the members screamed and the GMG team ran to the window, me trying to carry the fire dragon slayer. "Woah." Was all that we said before we heard a booming voice out in the distance. "HELLO EVERYBODY, AND WELCOME TO THIS YEARS GRAND MAGIC GAMES! AS SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE REALISED THAT WE DID NOT HAVE PRELIMINARY  ROUNDS AT MIDNIGHT, SUCH AS SAID IN THE RULE BOOK! SOMETHING CAME UP AND THE KING HIMSELF WAS PULLED AWAY FOR A MEETING! BUT THANKFULLY WE SHALL BE DOING IT NOW! PLEASE ALL GUILD TEAMS MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE ROOFS OF YOUR INN! KABO!"The pumpkin man told us all. I cast a spell on the two dragon slayer so they don't have motion sickness for the time being. "Alright everyone! Let's go!" Luna screamed rushing to the stairs. "Luna. You're not part of the team!" I shout and she pouts in the corner. "Cheer for us okay!" We all start running to the roof. As we reach the top we see a spiral structure in the centre of the city. "YOU NEED TO MAKE IT TO THE TOP OF THE TOWER FIRST! WE WILL NOT BE BLAMED FOR ANY DEATHS! READY! KABO!" Toma starts the count down. "You ready guys?!" Ersa shouted over the wind. We all nod. "GO!" The pumpkin skips the 'set' part and we all start running to the tower.
