Chapter 39: Pregnant?!

Lucy's PoV

I walk out of the bathroom in my PJs. "Luce! We're out of food!" Natsu complains from the kitchen. I sigh and walk in. "Okay! I'll get dressed then!" I scream back and run into my room to get dressed. Seeing as it was late in the day I decided to just wear sweats and a tank top. "You ready to go?" He asks as I slip my Uggs on. "Yep! Let's go! Happy, you and Luna stay here." I tell Happy, who was flying up to me behind Natsu. "Okay. What do I do if she wakes up?" He asks. "Stay clear of her until she comes up to you. She gets really grouchy after naps." I warn him as Natsu and I walk out of the house.

We make it to the market streets and the first thing I see is matching necklaces. "Ooooohhhh! Natsu! Have a look at these." I pull him up to the stand. "Hello, young lady! How would you like a matching necklace with your man." The old man at the stood picks up a gold necklace and a pink necklace, each have a broken half of a heart. The pink one says the first half of toge- and the gold has -ther on it. "We'll take 'em." Natsu gets some money out of his pocket and hands it to the man. "Wonderful decision, sir!" The old man hands him the necklaces and we walk away. "Turn around." Natsu says and I do so. Then, I feel cold metal on my already chilled skin. I look down and the pink one is around my neck. They're pretty loose so both could go on a man. I turn around to see Natsu grinning goofily at me and the golden one around his neck. "It matches your guild mark!" He smiles and I smile back. He takes my hand and we finish our food shopping.

We get home and it's already 5, we had left at 3 so that meant we had been out for 2 hours. When we open the doors, we come face to face with furniture flipped over, a lamp broken, some smudges on the floor and walls. "Oh my god! Hav-" I'm cut off by Natsu putting his hand over my mouth. "They might still be here." He whispers seriously, so only dragon slayers, that are 2 centimetres away, can hear. I nod my head in fright, thinking the burglar may still be here. We hear a clattering in the kitchen. I quickly hide behind Natus as he walks in between the mess. We get to the kitchen and he peers in. Once he looks in he sighs in relief and anger then relaxes his tense body. I also relax a bit then we both walk in. "Gala! Igneel! Grandeneey! Metalicana! What the hell are you doing here!?" I exclaim. They all turn to us. "Hey kiddo! How you doing?" Igneel waves at us. "Hey Lucy! What's up?" Metalicana smiles at us. "Hey Lucy!" Grandeeney and Gala unify. "Hey guys!" I walk up to them, completely ignoring the mess on the floor, and we all hug. "What are you guys doing here?" I smile and pull out. "We wanted to see how you were doing." Gala smiles at me. "I'm great!" I say back, smiling even wider. "Are we forgetting anything?!" Natsu's voice pipes up behind us. "Why did you have to make so much mess?!" He shouts angrily. "Oh, that was here before we got here." Metalicana admits. I look at Natsu with worried eyes. "Luna." I mumble under my breath and natsu and I run to our rooms.

In my bed I see Luna sleeping with a smile on her face. She did this. I groaned to myself and walk out of the room. Then I walk into Natsu's and Happy's room to find Happy freaking out in the corner. "It all when by so fast. S-she tried to k-kill m-me." He mumbles and I giggle. "Hey Happy! Want a fish?" I pull one out of my bag and throw it in his direction. He instantly perks up and jumps to grab it.

"How are we gonna clean up all this mess?" Happy groans. "I'll get Virgo and Ice to help." I summon Virgo and changed Ice's appearance. "Guys, can you help us clean up?" I beg them. "Sure/Yes Hime." They say and get straight to work. While they do that I walk into the kitchen. "So, how's mom and dad doing?" I ask Gala, knowing that she was the only other person in the room. "Their okay. Zeref's around almost everyday." Her mood instantly dampens. "How are you holding on?" She ask. "I've been better, but thanks to Fairy Tail, I'm smiling most of the time." I drop some chopped up veggies in a boiling pot. "What about you?" I ask as I start preparing some beef. "I'm okay. It doesn't really feel like it's happened, seeing that he comes everyday." She admits. "Has he gone to Tenjrou Island?" I ask and put the meat on a cutting board and start walking to the garden, Gala follows me. "Yeah. He says he's getting much closer with Mavis now." She sits on our outside beach as I put the meat in the grill. "That's good. That means that mine and Luna's work, worked!" I turn to her. "Yeah. He seems really happy now. More than he was before anyway." She rests her head in her hands. "You okay? There seems to be something else on your mind." I say, turning to check on the food. "I'm pregnant!" She squeals and I accidentally burn my hand on the grill. "I'm sorry! I shocked you!" She rushed over. "You're pregnant!" I squeal and throw my arms around her, forgetting about the burns. "Princess! Careful!" She giggles and hugs me back. "How long?" I look down at her belly to see its grown at all. "1 month." She giggles at my childishness. "I'm so happy for you!" I jump up. "Hey guys! What's all the commotion about?" Nastu, Happy, Luna and the others walk through the back door, while Grandeeney carried the veggies in a dish. "GALA'S PREGNANT!" I squeal and Natsu, Happy and Luna freeze. "Really?!" Luna flies over. "Yeah, 1 month." Metalicana walks over and puts his arm around Gala's shoulders. "Aww. You guys are so cute!" Grandeeney and I coo at them. They both blush. "Soup's up!" Natsu and Igneel shout and set the food on the table. We all sit down and chow down.
