Chapter 32: The party pt.2

Lucy's PoV

Natsu and I meet back at the house and begin putting the decorations up. There rainbow coloured symbolising everybody's magic. It takes at least an hour or so and by that time it's about four in the afternoon and the party starts at six so we have two hours to get the food ready and prepare our selves. "Luce, you go have a shower and get ready. I can get started here!" Natsu calls through the house from the kitchen. "Okay! Thanks!" I grab a tower and an orange, flowing dress and walk into the bathroom to take a shower. Once in out I walk into the kitchen and find Happy and Luna sitting on the table, playing a card game. "What'ca playing?" I walk over to them and sit down. "Go fish. You wanna play?" Luna replies. "No thanks. I'm afraid Happy might be a bit confused on the concept of the game." I giggle and go to help Natsu.

As I walk over to him he's happily standing around the kitchen. "What have you done so far?" I ask looking in the fridge to find it full of party food. "All that's left now is the cake." He comes up behind me and hugs me. "N-Natsu!? What are you doing?!" I cry spooked. "We haven't been alone in such along time. I missed this." He whispers into my ear. "Natsu, it's only been two weeks." I cross my arms. "You can wait one more day." I turn around and tap his noes. Then I turn back to the fridge and grab all of the ingredients I need. Natsu lets go of me and we start baking. I almost forgot about all of my upsettings, all of the things that were bothering me, but you can never stop the future from being the present. (I don't know. It sounded cool.)

As I pulled the cake out, the door bell rang. "Luna! Happy! Can you get that?!" I call, because Natsu had just gone to get dressed. "Alright!" Luna calls back and I place the ready made cake on the table. "Hey Luna! Hey Happy!" I hear a few familiar voices from the door. "Hey guys!" Natsu's voice comes from the front. I take my oven mitts off and run to the door. "Hey guys! Come on in." I see Gray, Ersa, Jerral, Levy, Gajeel, Wendy, Carla, Lily, Romeo, Mira, Elfman and Lizanna standing in the doorway. They all put there coats on the hangers on the all and walk in. "Hey stripper, put your shirt back on!" Natsu screams. "You're not stripping in my house!" Gray walks up to him. "It's my coat, candle stick! What do you expect me to do?!" He throws a punch at Natsu. "That's it!" Ersa slams the two of them together. "You two are not fighting at a celebration that Lucy has worked so hard to prepare!" Ersa screams at the two. "Hey! I had the idea! And I made the food!" Natsu smirks proudly. "Can you please just stop fighting. The others are going to be here soon." Lizanna begs. "Okay. Let's get this party started!" Natsu calls and soon everyone is here.

We party until midnight, and, for once, no one fainted. "See you tomorrow Lu-chan! Great party by the way." Levy smiles as she and Gajeel walk to the door. "Thanks for coming! See you tomorrow Levy-chan!" I smile back at her as I close the door. "I'm exhausted!" I wail as I walk and flop on the coach. "Come on. At least make it to the bed." Natsu sweat drops. "But I'm sooooooooo tiiiiiieeeeeedddddd." Luna and Happy had gone over to Wendy's for an exceed sleepover, so we were in the house alone. "What am I going to do with you?" Natsu walks up to me. "Carry me." I put my arms up and beg him. "Fine. But only because you did most of the work today." He picks me up bridal style and walks to my bed room. He throws me in the bed. I pull the blankets over me. "At least get dressed." He begs and I shake my head under the covers. Remembering that these would be my last months alive I call out. "Natsu." I sit up. "Sleep with me tonight. Please." I put on my puppy dog eyes. "F-fine." He blushes and climbs in beside me. I snuggle up next to him and lay my head on his chest. "Thank you Natsu. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me." I say before drifting off into a deep sleep.

Natsu's PoV

Soon enough, Lucy starts to fall asleep and I'm left just staring at the ceiling. Suddenly, I feel something wet on my chest. I look down and notice that Luce's crying. What's up with you lately? You seem so distant from me. Ever after the season change. I think before hugging Luce tighter and falling asleep, worry and sadness floating in my mind.
