Chapter 38: MirXus

Lucy's PoV

The day after the party I wake up in the guild. I'm feel a warmth on my cheek and around my waist. I open my eyes and see that my head is laying in Natsu's chest. I look up and see Natsu's sleeping face. I rest my chin on his chest as I stare into his peaceful face. I tap my fingers on his chest as I day dream, thinking about Mira had said days ago. What will our future look like? I ask myself. After contemplating on it for a while I rest my head back on his chest, as it seemed like no one would be waking up for a while, and fell asleep.

Lizanna's PoV

I wake up and see the guild is still asleep. I stand up and look around for a certain dragon slayer and a celestial Mage. I see them in the centre of the guild, sleeping soundly. They're perfect for each other. I'm glad he decided to marry her. I think as I unconsciously get the camera, that Mira hides under the counter, and start taking pictures of the couple.

Then I hear a grunting noise behind me so I turn around. There I see Mira in Laxus' lap, both sleeping happily. After being shocked for a while I start taking snap shots of the moment. Happy with my out come, I put the camera back under the counter and walk behind it. "What time is it?" Mira groans from her spot on Laxus' lap. "Um, 11:30 I think." Looking at the clock on the wall. She looks at me with shocked eyes. "Morning Mira-nee." I smile mischievously as she looks down at her lap. She squeals and blushes. I giggle and continue washing the mug I was before she woke up. She then runs to behind the counter and crouches, like she's hiding from some terrifying beast. "What's wrong Mira-nee, why are you blushing so much?" An evil glint appears in my eyes. "N-no r-reason L-Lizanna. W-what's up with y-you?" She tries to change the subject, even though the blush on her cheeks is obvious. "Oh, nothing really." I say, making it clear that I saw what happened. "You can't tell anyone." The she devil Mira comes out and I start shivering. "Y-yes m-ma'am." I salute her and she smiles innocently. "Good. I'm glad we understand each other." She stands up, the blush a distance memory, and starts cleaning up the guild. "You loooooooovvvvvvvvveeee hiiiiim." I tease her when she's at the other end of the guild then make a sprint for my house.

Lucy's PoV

I wake up again, Natsu's gone and the whole guild is awake and moving around. It seemed that someone moved me  because I was laying on a bench. "Hey! You're awake!" Luna's voice pipes up from across the table. I sit up properly and face her. "Mornin'. What time is it?" I ask her while rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. "Um, two. I think." She says looking at her wrist for a clock to magical appear. "WHAT!" I stand up, also looking for a clock to magical appear. "Yo Lucy. You finally woke up. I'm surprised you slept that long." Gray walks up, alone. "Hey. Where's Natsu?" I notice that he's not around. "He went back to your guy's house. I surprised he left you." Ersa lifts her head from her strawberry cheesecake. "Okay. I think I'll head there then. I haven't showered yet." I run out of the guild with Luna.

Natsu's PoV

Carefully, I set Luce down on a bench, not wanting to wake her up. "Hey flame brains! Fight me!" Ice pop walks up to me. "Sorry Lord of the pants. I've got to talk to someone about something." I walk from his to Lizanna. "Hey Lizanna. Can we talk about that thing now?" I ask her and wink, knowingly. "Sure!" She smiles and we walk to mine and Luce's house.

When we get there I close the door. "Right! First things first. Have you got a ring yet?" She walks to the couch and sits down. "No." I scratch the back of my neck sheepishly. "Okay. It's good I bought these." She pulls ring pamphlets out of nowhere. "Look at these." She opens one of them and points at it. "I don't think so. I want it to be special." I stroke my chin in deep thought. "Okay, what about this one?" She changes the page and points at another one. "Nooooo." I admit. She huffs and changes the page again. "This one?" She points at it. I shake my head.

This continues for a couple hours until it's 2:30. "We need a new strategy." She sighs, pacing around the room. "Well maybe we should look at them in person." I suggest. "We could." She thinks aloud. Suddenly, we hear the keys rattle in the door. "Quick! Hide them!" I shout and start collecting the pieces of paper scattered around the room. As soon as the door opens Lizanna and I sit on the couch with the pamphlets under us. "Oh hey Lizanna! I didn't know you were here!" Lucy smiles and waves at Lizanna as she throws her keys in their designated pot. "Hey Lulu! It's getting late so I should get going. See you later guys!" Lizanna stands up, hiding most of the sheets behind her, and walks to the door.

After that, Luce walks to the bathroom and Luna sits down and falls right asleep. "I'm just gonna take a quick shower, 'kay?" She opens the door. "Okay! I'll make dinner early then!" I shout as she closers it. The second it's shut I jump up and throw all of the sheet in the bin. Once I've made sure that they're all in, dust off my hands and look in the fridge. "Crap, I forgot to go shopping today." I curse as I notice the empty fridge. I look in the cupboard and all there is are spices. "I'm home!" Happy flies throw the kitchen window. "Hey Happy." I sigh. "What's wrong Natsu?" He looks at me worriedly. "We're out of food!" I cry animatedly and point at the empty fridge. He sweat drops. "We'll go out when Lucy gets out of the shower." He reassures me. And we almost got caught.

(A/N. Hey yo! I finally did a long chapter! And I got some MirXus! I wasn't sure what to name the chap so I just called it that. Thanks for keeping up with this story. I know it's SUPER long, but we're finally getting to the fan girl climax. YAY. I'll see you all next time my little storm clouds!)
