Kelly's P.O.V
That seems like ages ago now. Life continues on. Patrick follows me everywhere and tries to walk me home. It's incredibly exasperating. Adelaide moved back here and we live together in a tiny apartment. I love that apartment. Mum and Dad try to contact us all the time but we just ignore them. I make my way to the bus stop and reach it just as it pulls up. I climb on, slotting into one of the back seats. Luke Green sits down beside me. 'I, I um.. I'm sorry about what happened with that idiot boy Patrick' he says and I smile at him. 'I was wondering... Um if you'd like I go out with me on Saturday?' He asks hesitantly and I'm shocked. Luke Green asked me out!. I nod. 'Cool' he says and gets up off his seat. I realise then we're at school. I run inside to find Sadie. I tell her everything and she squeals. 'I have to come over Saturday and help you pick out an outfit' she says. Sadie already knows I moved in with Adelaide. I manage to get through my morning classes. Patrick steps I front of me as I make my way to Biology. His eyes are livid. 'Are you going out with Luke Green on Saturday?' He asks furiously. I sigh and continue on my way. 'Its none of your business. We are no longer dating so I'm single and free to date other guys' I say and walk to Biology. I take a seat and as usual Luke appears and sits beside me. Halfway through class a note is slipped into my book. I open it and it reads:
Can't wait for Saturday ;) . You like going to the park?. I scribble back yes and continue on with my work. I speed through the day and the bell rings for the end of school. As I unlock my locker a voice whispers behind me. 'See you Saturday' he says and disappears. We have a day off tomorrow. Friday tomorrow. Adelaide and I are going to the hospital. It's her due date. I get home and there's a hoarse cry escaping from the living room. 'Addie?' I call. I run into the living room. Adelaide's collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily and surrounded in watery liquid. 'Kelly, Kelly the baby's coming' Adelaide gasps. My heart stands still. It's up to me now.Hey. Thoughts?. Thought I'd throw in a twist. Follow, Vote and Comment!.
