My Reunion

I wake up realizing I'm smiling like a idiot. I try to stop smiling but I had the best time last night. I look out the window to see it cloudy and windy.

Still a beautiful day. I jump out of bed not even changing. I skip down the stairs smelling pancakes in the kitchen. When I get down I see my mom cooking some pancakes.

"Good morning mom." I say wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Well someone is in a good mood." She smiles looking down at me.

"Oh you know. Just glad to be alive."

She chuckles and puts pancakes on my plate. I dig in still smiling like a idiot. Ok I need to stop smiling now. I drink my juice and put my dishes in the sink.

"So mom tonight I'm going out with a friend." I say sitting on the counter.

"Who's the friend?"

"Max."

"Ooo look at my daughter."

"No mom were friends that's all."

She gives me her 'just wait' look. I roll my eyes playfully and jump down and run to my room.

"He's coming over isn't he?" She yells before I shut my door.

I bite my bottom lip giving a light laugh.

"Maybe!" I call back and shut my door.

I pick out my outfit for today. Black leggings, a long crystal blue shirt that says 'the queen', and I'll wear my blue bandana. I get in the shower, cleaning myself up.

I get out and change. I look in the mirror deciding about my hair. Eh I'll leave it in a bun. I dry my hair then put it in a high bun. For make up I'll go light.

I put some eye liner, massacre, blue eye shadow, and light blush on. Perfect. I put some Chapstick on and I walk out. I look at my phone.

'On my way.' -Max.

I smile and spin around. I've never been this happy before.... I don't know if j should be worried or just.. Happy? Haha oh well I actually like this feeling.

Few minutes later my mom knocks on my door.

"Your friend is downstairs. I'm running to the store to get things for the twins. Behave don't do anything stupid."

"You know I won't. Bye."

"Bye love you."

"Love you too."

She walks down the stairs saying bye to max. I take a deep breath calming myself. I walk out shutting my door. I see max standing in front of the door hands in his pockets.

"Hello." He says.

"Hi. You can come in." I say and sit on the couch.

"Your mom is really nice."

"Yeah but just don't get on her bad side."

He smiles.

"I'll remember that."

"So I was wondering what you wanted to do before we go get pizza."

"Hmm I know a top secret place that we can go to."

"Sounds adventurous. Let's do it."

I get up and put on my sneakers. I follow him outside locking the door. We walk up the street and head into the woods.
