They were both breathing heavily, looking dazedly at each other, a few feet apart. Alden needs the distance or he'll be at it again. Jeez! Where did all my self-control go? Para akong prepubescent boy in heat! He thought in embarrasment.
Maine!!!! Take control of the situation, she thought in panic. Lagi na lang ba ganito?
Finally, Maine said, "We really need to take this slow, seriously."
"Don't you like it? Alden asked, still trying to catch his breath.
"That's the thing, I like it! A. Lot! Kaya we need to slow down." She answered.
"Why?" Alden knows why, he's just being stubborn.
"D'you want to stick to your 5-year plan? Then we have to slow down & go easy on the kisses." Maine countered.
"Can I re-negotiate?" A asked quietly
"Re-neg what?" M still trying to get her wits together, she turned away from him just to not see the longing & lust still evident in his eyes.
A: Five years
M: Anoooo? (Laughed in disbelief)
