Maine was dazedly staring at the ceiling, so this is what space out means, she mused. She turned her head to peer at Alden again, still asleep. His hair tousled, lips parted. Napagod ka rin, she laughed quietly. She wanted to stare at him some more but she couldn't stop her mind from flashing vivid, HD images of what transpired the night before. She felt herself blush again & couldn't stop the giggle that escaped her, that's when she felt Alden stir.
A: Good morning, love! (He yawned & stretched)
She stared open-mouthed at him, she could see the muscles of his abs contract as he stretched, she wanted to turn away when she realized the blanket rode really really low due to his stretching but she caught a glimpse of his happy trail & was mesmerized.
A: babe, I said good morning & andito sa taas mga mata ko.
M: 'morning. (Looking away & blushing)
Alden was now propped on his elbow looming over her with a smile.
A: nasaktan ba kita?
M: haha ang cliche mo!
Maine tried moving & flinched. Alden immediately touched her, concern all over his face.
A: babe, ano???
M: shit seryoso, masakit likod ko at balakang, nabalian yata ako ng buto.
A: grabe naman!
M: I'm supposed to feel sore, right? Baka I'm just sore.
A: you couldn't tell?
M: uhm, first time ko, babe at dakota harrison ka, hello!
A: hahaha sira talaga ulo mo! Anong dakota harrison?
M: sus, fishing for compliments ka pa, as if di mo alam na pinag uusapan lagi yang.. yang..bulge mo!

M: I need to leave na, anong oras na ba?
A: cuddle muna please? Gusto ko pang matulog with you.
M: so safe talagang mag-cuddle tayo na hubo't hubad? Cuddle talaga ah!
Alden was chuckling while folding Maine in his arms. This girl never runs out of smart alecky comebacks. Never fails to make him laugh no matter the situation, he's thinking proudly.
M: babe..
A: hhmmm?
M: is that your third leg poking at me again?
A: anong third leg?
Then he roared in laughter until tears are running down his face.
A: third leg pala ha, ginawa mo pa akong tripod.
M: sus! Tuwang tuwa ka naman! Ang pangit lang ng name niya on social media.
A: anong name?
M: Jun-Jun
A: hahaha!
M: pili ka, Thirdy or Felix?
A: hahaha Felix Bakat? Umm, obvious naman yon, why Thirdy?
