I took a sharp breath as I quickly turned my gaze towards the now, unbelievable interesting floor.
"Quinn?" Leon called once again, this time in confusion. I heard a chair being pushed back, someone standing. I somehow expected him to come up to me but when I looked up I saw his back as he left the classroom, followed by his friends. I shook my head in embarrassment, looking up at Leon.
"Sorry, what did you say?" I said, trying to smile. Leon innocently returned a smile.
"I wondered if you were taking latin?" He asked. Not knowing my schedule in my head I reached for my bag.
"I think I have my schedule with me." I murmured as I reached for my bag and begun looking through papers which i received from Elenor this morning.
"If you don't know, you can look it up later. There are no latin classes on tuesdays either way. I was just wondering if we might be in the same class." He said tilting his head as he smiled once again.
"oh, then, once I know, I'll tell you." I said, returning his smile. We both turned towards Maggie and Nath as Nath was convincing Maggie she was right about a specific math problem.
"I give up, you're right." Maggie said and sighed.
"Of course I'm right." Nath reaffirmed as she packed her stuff back in her bag.
"Why did you bring it up, Nath? Now I feel like I did my stretch in vain." Maggie sulked. Nath shrugged as she stood up.
"Shall we leave? Maggie, you and I have physics." Nath said and poked the sulking Maggie.
"Physics? Is that the last lesson? I had forgotten." Maggie responded slumping down once again at the desk.
Both Leon and Nath pulled Maggie up from the chair and almost dragged her out of the classroom. I followed them, smiling in amusement. The young teacher were still there, sitting down by the lectern, going through, what looked like old tests. Leon and Nath nodded as a greeting as they were leaving. I was about to do the same as he stood up.
"Miss Dale?" He called out. I stopped in my steps, turning around.
"Yes?" I answered. I should have expected it. Being a chatterbox at my first day did not bode well.
"Maybe an introduction is in order. Levin Reichard." He introduced himself as he reached out his hand in a greeting. His hand being sturdy with long fingers. I reached out my hand and grabbed his.
"Quinn Dale." I answered with my own name, smiling politely.
"Nice meeting you, I hope you will feel right at home." He said while his narrow lips gave me a genuine smile which made my heart skip a beat. Get yourself together Quinn, he's your teacher.
"It's nice meeting you too." I stated.
"I hope you could keep up with the lesson? Although you did not have a book, so I noticed." He asked.
"Yes, I shared book with Mag... I mean miss Mirat." I stopped mid sentence and addressed Maggie by her last name instead.
"That worked out for today, didn't it? But for next lesson I would like you to have your own book. Could you please pay my office your visit to receive your book before next lesson?" He asked as he lifted his eyebrows.
"Yes, definitely sir." I answered.
We released our grip around each others hands and I nodded a less formal greeting as I turned around and left the classroom. I didn't sight either Maggie, Leon nor Nath. I made a slight sprint down the corridor. Not seeing them but everyone else seeing me made me quite worried. Getting stares in the "normal" world didn't bother me but here it was a different story. I swallowed nervously.
"Is this a lost puppy?" an amused voice sounded behind me and I turned around in a haste and I made eye contact with the one I would do anything to not ever see again.
"I'm not lost." I said as casually as I could straightening my back, trying to show some confidence, which I did not have.
"Don't really care." Dwight said and shrugged his shoulders.
"Then why are you speaking to me?" I asked, being honestly curious to why he would make such an "effort" to speak to me considering he seemed to hate every second of conversation with me.
"The headmaster is requesting your presence at his office." He said with a sigh at the end making it seem like this was the most annoying and tiring message to relay.
"oh, okay." I noted as I nodded. In most situation I would thank the messenger for relying the message but I did not feel the need.
"Yeah." He said as he tuned in on my nodding. Then he turned around and was about to leave as he stopped. Making me blink in confusion, did he want anything else. He didn't turn around but he spoke.
"Be careful around that teacher." He enunciated and then left me, he must have used super speed because he just vanished.
Though his last comment put me in a state of confusion.

"Quinn!" I heard Leon call out for me and I saw him running down the corridor to my right.
"Sorry, that we left you." Leon said wearing a devastated look.
"No, don't worry about that, I would have been fine on my own." I said trying to comfort him.
"Would you?" He said not really believing me.
"No I wouldn't but don't worry about that." I said giving him a teeth showing smile. He begun laughing and then he messed up my hair by patting my head. Though in mid action he froze. He quickly withdrew his hand and held it in his other hand as if he had touched a flame. I stared at him in confusion.
"Forgive me, I didn't know what I was doing." He said wide eyed.
"oh, I did not think very much of it though." I said scratching the back of my head awkwardly.
"It was just a friendly gesture, right?" I continued on.
"Yes." he reaffirmed.
"And... You could say that we are friends, or am I misinterpreting something?" I continued on with the awkwardness whilst looking down. Was he going to take this the wrong way? I mean, maybe he wouldn't like to have a human as a friend. Not receiving any response from Leon I carefully looked up through my eyelashes seeing Leon wearing a beaming smile.
"Yes, you could say that we are friends." He agreed while nodding.
